Yep! When the masses were singing this man's accolades, I always stated that he was a fraud and even more so an opportunist. He is the worst kind! If he gets his foot in the door, he would do this country more damage than good. So it's best that people are seeing his true side now before election.
Ahhhh...I was a stern LB supporter, but really! All of this boo hah is beginning to turn me off. A woman cannot lead with the emotions of a woman. In other words, she needs to stop all of these emotional outbursts and just do what she intents to do! Politics is dirty- And not just in the Bahamas, but every where in the world. As the old saying goes, "If you can't stand the heat in the kitchen, get out!" People who are vying for top positions will not make it easy for their opponents to surpass them. Sure there should be a democratic process. And it is sickening when someone stoops so low to make the playing field uneven, just for them to remain valid. BUT, the people ain't no fool, we can see what's going on. We need to hear who has the best viable solution to take this country out of the muck and mire and at the same empower our people while propelling the Bahamas forward.
" I think of the country." BS! Tennyson Wells is one of those old greedy used to be politicians, who still craves attention. During his tenure as a minister of the government, Wells can speak of nothing that he has done to benefit the Bahamas. Quite frankly, he and the kind only seek public office to feed of the fat of the land, so to speak. As Sting song goes,"The more they get, the more they want" As insensitive as this may sound, these old wicked creatures need to hurry hit the bucket so that the Bahamas can breathe and new talents can be recognized.
*"He added that he strongly doubted the country was ready for a woman prime minister"*
Come now! Everyone and his uncle knows that Miller does not like women (In roles other than domestic mates that is). So it is quite logical that he does not support Butler-Turner as a leader. Let's face it: The majority of the males in this country do not support women in leadership roles or as equal. Women will really need to be on-board heavily for lady B to be successful in her bid for first female prime minister.
