Colour is not an issue here. The problem is you and others like yourself John, are always in church and quoting biblical scriptures, but yet you do not see how this is all morally wrong here. So true. But Fred Mitchel needs to be more public in his stance on these issues. As far as I am concerned he voted correctly. Perhaps Smith does want to stir up the pot a bit to get the "insecure about their own sexuality" crew started with their hate and barraging campaign against Fred. In any event, it seems as though Smith has failed in his usual role as the trouble maker.
Folks this debate should not be about Bahamian artists versus foreign artists. It should be about public appeal or record sales versus lack of public appeal and record sales. Ronnie Butler and Bahamen are world renowned. Even though he did not win an Emmy Award, Ronnie Butler is still considered to be one of the greatest musicians in the region similar to Byran Lee, Lord Kitchener and Sparrow. What KB gat is ego. KB is certainly a good entertainer but he has yet to take his music to the next level. Sorry but Regattas don't count.
