LOl...I know you did not pull voodoo out of the bags. While I believe that the people you mentioned do not have no true allegiance to the Bahamas, I do believe that voodoo, like our Junkanoo festival, which originally had some supernatural influences, all originated from Africa. So I believe that voodoo should be considered an import aspect of Haiti's culture. Although the Haitian masses in their ignorance look at it as a means of doing evil, which in reality it cannot.

Yep nothing gives Volataire a hard-on more than the pampering of illegal haitians. i have read his comments over and over again and nothing, zip, blank about chastising those that sneak onto our shores to rape our country. When the Ally guy threatened Bahamians, no comments came from him or the other anti-Bahamians.

These people with Haitian blood would rise up against Bahamians in a minute if ever there was a riot between the two countries, namely the Bahamas and Haiti. Even Blind Blake can see that they have no loyalty for the Bahamas. No one condones the ill- treatment of anyone. I don't believe that anyone who writes on these pages will agree to that. So I am flabbergasted as to why people like DonAnthony, Voltaire and the other clowns would even allude to the fact that Fred Smith was victorious. No one wins here. All this does is shed a bad light on ALL Bahamians, including the closet Haitian-Bahamians. It further divides our society and leaves most Bahamians with a bad taste in their mouth. If anyone speaks bad about the Bahamas, then that person is speaking bad about me and every other right-thinking Bahamian. I am not trying to mute Fred Smith. What really gets to me is why does he have to try to showboat to the world at the expense of ALL Bahamians? There were other avenues to take. When is going to take his campaign to his birth place? If the wanna be seen Fred Smith thinks that Bahamians will look at him favorably for fighting his personal war with Fred Mitchel, then he better think again. When the FNM was in power, there were alleged mistreatment of illegal migrants. Not a word from this clown.

I refuse to sit back and allow the Haitian diaspora to pull the rug from under me. I work hard, I pay taxes, I abide by the laws of the Bahamas. So what makes any other person so special that the laws of the Bahamas should not be applied to them? What makes it worst is that the ungrateful bastards that complain the most are illegals, they do not contribute to our country and still wanna spit on us. Trust me, yall ain wan see a true Bahamian get mad for he tings. This so called meeting with the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights would be like a walk in the park!

Boy generalcrazy, you raw now! Your words are abrasive, but what you are saying is all true. MOST Haitians are users. They have been using Bahamians for years. While we are trying to present our views in this forum and while Fred "spotlight" Smith is being delusional about fighting for the rights of illegal Haitians only in the bahamas, the Haitians themselves could give a shit about all of this. No matter what the outcome is, these people pay no attention to laws or even try to consider changing their ways to benefit society. there is no compromise when it comes to haitians./smith/georges It is interesting when one looks at the attitude of Fred Smith though. Oh, he may wear a suit and may be a QC, but that Haitian blood is strong in him. He displays all of the traits that are usually seen in the typical Haitian society. You see them trying to burn down the Presidential Palace and or they often threaten their officials on a daily basis. So when Fred Smith and Louby Georges were accused of trying to conjure up the spirit of revolt among the Haitian community I was not a bit surprise. That's just their way of thinking. Although I have not read any statements by DonAnthony, Voltaire,DEDDIE or Economist that speak out against someone that is trying to start a riot in THEIR country, the bahamas.

i totally agree that when dealing with illegal immigrants, law enforcers should always be professional while carrying out their duties. But. the lopsided views of all those who are siding with Fred Smith are questionable. People who are honest and sincere about human rights care about the rights of all humans. not just a select few, unless of course they have some bloodline that is connected to the selected race they so adamantly defend. At least be fair about what's going on. To say that Fred Smith was victorious shows that you are a part of Fred's team or that you are taking sides on this issue.

But folks let me tell you something: I am a realist. If you think Bahamians are angry now about the illegal Haitian problem, keep watching. This whole ordeal will only add more flame to a burning situation. Bahamians, by nature are kind hearted people. But when you try to run them over or try to shine a negative light on them, especially when it is not true, do you know what they are gonna say? There is nothing about SP's remarks that is racist. SP, like other true Bahamians are simply trying to protect what is ours or what is left. We are tired of people shoving bullshit talk in our face whenever we try to speak out against the Haitian problem. I make no apologies for calling a spade a spade. Yes, Haitians are parasites. Bahamians are not to blame for them being that way. So don't try and hold our feet to the coal. I am simply tired of running on with all of the problems illegal Haitians are bringing to our shores.
