> KP Turnquest said “Despite also facing an unjust breach of fiduciary duty claim, the court’s decision not to impose any financial penalties on me serves as a resounding affirmation of my defence."
Not so Mr. Turnquest. The seriously flawed ruling of Justice Carla Card-Stubbs only serves to reinforce the embarrassing extent to which our entire legal system is now corrupt.
Fred Kaiser made two serious mistakes. First, as a foreigner, he picked (of all Bahamians) KP Turnquest and Randy Butler to be his business partners. Second, he picked Michael Scott to be his lawyer.
Our corrupt politicians continue to sell what little is left of our heritage and soul to the twin devils in order to line their pockets at the expense of the Bahamian people. And by the twin devils, I mean the ruthlessly greedy cruise ship industry (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney, etc.) and the ChiComs. Truly sad.
No self-respecting Bahamian woman should ever cast a vote for a PLP candidate, whether the PLP candidate be a man, woman or a freak of nature. As a political party, the PLP has never had any meaningful respect for women's rights.
All Bahamian taxpayers should be asking themselves how is it the IDB continues to put its greedy lending teat ('tit') on the hard sucking lips of our corrupt government while at the same time the IMF is claiming our national debt is unsustainable and, in fact, is to great extent unrepayable.
You're drinking the wrong kool aid. They want you to think that the pandemic was the primary cause of the bankruptcy of NIB. Doing so takes the blame away from them raiding the cookie jar over and over again, over decades. And by "them" I mean our corrupt and most greedy political ruling class.
It seems an organized crime syndicate is having an easy pay day using state of the art high tech wireless "sniffing" devices to capture ATM card info for the purpose of creating counterfeit cards. The question to be asked is: Why are these thieves only able to exploit vulnerabilities in FINCO's ATM card system?
Superbly put! That ticking time bomb went KABOOM many years ago. Our country's dire financial predicament has arisen from decades of unabashed corruption by the extremely greedy and evil political ruling class.
Davis, who is minister of finance, alway has his minions like Simple Simon, in the case of government workers, and Slo Mo Sears, in the case of national insurance contributors, break the bad news that the robber barons within the corrupt and most greedy political ruling class have, for all intents and purposes, fleeced all of the country's pension schemes.
Bingo! They've decided to royally shaft all government workers employed by government less than 8 years simply because the majority of them are younger and further away from retirement.

Fernander is so blind to the realities of crime in our country today that he may as well poke those two pointed fingers of his in his own eyes.

It has been decades since we've had a competent police commissioner.....and Fernander is current proof of that fact every time he wags his tongue.
