I am slowly beginning to understand why so many Bahamians believe that the corrupt cabal which exists in the US congress and US intelligence agencies may be of a much greater existential threat to The Bahamas than the ChiComs who have set up shop in our nation and now have control over our puppet government.
Genuine friends of our nation would not allow or assist in the cover up of criminal acts perpetrated by Bahamian government officials and other well connected members of our political ruling class. Protecting such persons only serves to leave the Bahamian people vulnerable to the severe social and economic effects of future criminal activities that will undoubtedly be committed by these very same persons.
The Bahamian people really deserve better from the US government and the US people.
John Ray and the liquidators based in The Bahamas have all along had the means to determine exactly who were the Bahamian beneficiaries of the fraudulent NFT transactions for the purpose of pursuing legitimate claims against them for unjust enrichment at great cost to the creditors of the estate of the FTX group.
If I had the power to do so, I would only too happily turn over to able seaman Cladwell Farrington the brand spanking new fully loaded BMW that Davis bought for himself at a cost to taxpayers of well over $200,000. There is no doubt in mind who deserves the car more.
Every Bahamian owes seaman Cladwell and the other survivors of that infamous day a debt of gratitude.
Was the male defendant released on bail without the 15 year-old girl being taken into protective custody by the appropriate authorities? If not, she a sitting duck of a target.

Anthony Ferguson would try promote and sell you the free air you breath as a PPP in the hope that you and government would be stupid and foolish enough to invest in the National Investment Fund. While he was PM, dumbo Hubert Minnis gave Ferguson and his Greek business partner full control of the National Investment Fund so that they could use it as one of their umbrella investment holding vehicles for charging investors layer upon layer of every kind of fee imaginable in order to fleece vulnerable investors who think they are investing in a true sovereign wealth fund. Oh well, as Ferguson well knows, a fool and their money are easily parted.
I guess you don't know that Disney is now effectively owned by the ChiComs. Never have the costumes of the official Mickey, Minnie and other Disney characters been adorned with so much ornate yellow gold. Then again, may be you do know.
Pintard and the FNM leadership should be going on record as promising the Bahamian people that, if they become the next government, they will immediately do everything within their power to obtain from the US Justice Dept., and the Delaware bankruptcy court, full details of the likely crimes committed by Bahamian government officials and other members of the political ruling class so that the matters can be further investigated and criminal charges brought where warranted under our own laws.
The Bahamian news media should pursue obtaining such a forthright promise and undertaking from Pintard and the FNM leadership at the earliest possible time.
Can't help but wonder who are the unlucky 5 and what did they do to deserve being sentenced to a dangerous war zone.
Meanwhile President Ruto of Kenya, who is known by his people as the "Flying President", is being feted in Washington DC by Biden and Obama as he negotiates a generous debt relief package for the Kenyan people. The debt relief package is a quid pro quo for his willingness to be the poster boy in charge of a multi-national force of troops from Kenya and small nation in the Caribbean so that the US itself does not have to foolishly risk the lives of its own troops by putting US boots on the ground in violent gang controlled Haiti.
Kenya has been on the verge of defaulting on its national debt just as Ethiopia did five or so months ago.
Ruto is called the Flying President back in Kenya because he has ignored the poverty of his people and travelled to lavish international events of one kind or another on average three time a month since he assumed the presidency in 2022. Some Kenyans think he has spent more time outside than inside Kenya since he became president. Perhaps we should start calling Stumpy Davis our Flying Prime Minister.....just a thought! But that would make Freddy Boy Michell turn lime green with envy!!
