What's proposed here would result in the end of affordable electricity for many in the Bahamas, especially on the family islands. The relatively few wealthier individuals and businesses in our country today who would be forced to significantly subsidize the costs of providing electricity to everyone else would simply call it a day and leave the country.

Talk about selling out his helpless and financially stressed patients ....... as if Dr. Knowles does not have enough money as it is. Truly sad.

These types of extortionist measures are fundamentally unconstitutional. No government has the right to shutdown or otherwise impede or interfere with the business activities of any private enterprise without first proving a lawful case for doing so under circumstances in which the business is granted due process in a hearing of its position in the matter.

Bluntly put, government should never be given the power to simply pick which businesses are to be the winners without the losers having their fair day in an appropriate judicial proceeding.

Our Constitution guarantees every person (including businesses) a fair hearing by way of due process under the laws of our nation and no enterprise should be denied the ability to continue conducting business until such time that an appropriate judicial authority has ruled otherwise under the laws of our nation. Dumbo Halkitis and Simple Simon do not have the authority to bypass due process and unlawfully shutdown or otherwise impede or interfere with the business activities of any enterprise.

Pintard knows full well that Davis is morally bankrupt and therefore incapable of making the principled decision to criminalise marital rape in our statute laws. No right minded woman should ever consider voting for a PLP candidate, especially a female candidate, until such time that marital rape is both specifically and satisfactorily criminalised under our statute laws.

He said exactly that in more ways than one and you know it.

You and Davis clearly believe that a woman upon marriage is somehow transformed into "property" of the husband whereby she can be used and abused as he sees fit with impunity. That's just a plain sick line of thinking by many men in our society that you and Davis are wrongly trying to preserve.

ExposedU2C says...

Bingo!

Even worse would be a PPP that somehow winds up putting control of BPL in the hands of Snake and his cronies.

ExposedU2C says...

LMAO

**OMG !!!!!**

By saying divorce is a solution for marital rape, Davis has finally confessed his shameful and most disgusting belief that marriage permits a physically stronger husband to rape his physically weaker wife whenever he chooses to do so.

All married women in the Bahamas should be outraged and demand that he immediately be removed the office of prime minister through a vote of no confidence brought and supported by all sitting MPs in the HOA.

I pray all the major media outlets around the world get whiff of and report on Davis's outright confession of his utterly disgraceful belief that a husband is fully entitled to rape his wife.

Many of us well remember this arrogant, nasty and evil SOB readily admitting he had no idea whether he was heading east or west while he was PM.
