Educating children has never been a priority of the elitist hierarchy of the political ruling class in our country. In fact, the opposite is true. Puddling was quoted as saying after he won his second general election that future generations of smart and discerning voters were not conducive to his political ruling class holding the reins of power for many years to come.
It was about that time that Puddling ordered Loftus Roker to not renew the work permits of all the highly qualified foreign teachers in The Bahamas. From that time on, public education has been in a downward spiral, achieving new all-time lows with each and every passing year.
The cruel and corrupt members of the elitist PLP hierarchy over the age of 60 have made sure successive generations of Bahamians never receive the same high quality of public education that they themselves received. Hanna-Martin, as was her father, is one of them. They have always preferred dumbed-down D- educated voters who can be all too easily deceived.
Care to guess who were the previous lenders receiving interest at an outrageously high rate of 13% per annum on their loans to Bahamasair notwithstanding government's de facto guarantee through a letter of continued financial support that the loans would be repaid by Bahamasair?
LOL. I've never paid any attention to them because I scroll down so quickly to the comments.
As for Matisse closing, I stopped eating there many moons ago. Lousy location, declining quality of food and service, and ever increasing prices, were the main reasons I stopped patronizing the place well over a decade ago.
LMAO. The poor bishop obviously does not know that the Maynard families and Butler families long ago got their money back from their investments made in high interest paying annuity investment products issued by CLICO and its affiliates.
