LOL. Who needs "trumped-up charges" to detain/arrest the criminals within our ruling political elite (and the criminals among their wealthier cronies and financial-backers) when so much hard evidence exists that has been gathered by the U.S. intelligence agencies in recent decades.

> Asked yesterday about the local situation, Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell declined to comment.

This slimy SOB has for years been telling his political colleagues that the human rights abuses being committed here by The Bahamas are perfectly justified by the U.S. continuing to "poach" from our small nation newly trained, qualified, and experienced, Bahamian medical doctors, nurses, and medical technicians.

But what sleasy Fwreddy Boy refuses to accept and acknowledge is that the U.S. government is fully aware the very corrupt leadership of our political parties, especially the PLP, is responsible for creating the poor social and economic conditions that have caused the very serious brain-drain our small nation has been suffering from since the 1980s.

The above article is so poorly written that it seems intended to confuse readers. I therefore strongly encourage interested readers to visit the U.S. State Department's official website to read for themselves what is actually said about The Bahamas in the annual international narcotics control strategy report for 2025.

Secretary Rubio and his State Dept. leadership team likely now have The Bahamas squarely on their radar in ways not touched on by this somewhat dated report; ways that no doubt will much more appropriately address the national security concerns President Trump has about The Bahamas given both its close proximity to the southeastern border of the U.S. and the ever growing cosy relationship its corrupt current and former senior politicians have developed with the ChiComs.

But dim witted Darville does not seem to be the least bit concerned that the primary cause of the significant uptick in the cases of these types of terrible diseases is our nation's increasing level of dire poverty directly tied to the failed social and economic policies of this current and most corrupt Davis led PLP administration of which he is a part as health minister.

I imagine the current US administration may have concerns about the prospects of Bahamians transmitting such diseases to others while visiting the US. They may even clamp down on spring breakers visiting our shores. Not good!

This guy, who was born on US soil as a US citizen, is nothing but a pathological liar. Davis and his puppet Pinder think we are all as corrupt and stupid as they are.

A few years ago the loud voice of the Bahamian people was successful in shutting down under sea oil drilling projects because of grave environmental concerns. We now need to do likewise with respect to whatever 'illegal' agreement(s) this most corrupt PLP administration stealthily entered into with the U.S. government and U.S. corporate interests behind the backs of the Bahamian people,

ExposedU2C says...

Corrupt Davis and his side-kick Chester the Jester are lining their pockets by selling government approvals of investment projects to unscrupulous developers who could not care less about the harmful effects to the most pristine areas of our environment. Meanwhile, Davis and Cooper are claiming on the world stage that they are greatly concerned about the harmful effects on our small nation of global pollution, climate change and rising sea levels. What a blithering joke these two greedy idiots are!

ExposedU2C says...

All the more reason the Bahamian people need to run the very corrupt and incompetent Davis out of office. This cowardly wimp is no leader by any stretch of one's imagination as we have seen over and over again from this PLP administration's many foolish policies. We should not be willing to allow our nation and its people to be 'taken down' by Davis's thirst for hanging on to power to feed his own greed and the greed of his cronies and financial-backers.

> He {Davis} highlighted the importance of new trade partnerships, noting that a single relationship with a new source market can significantly reduce the cost of goods.

We've had out-of-control inflation for years, but only now is this bozo talking about the need for new trade relationships. The light bulb over this man's head has been blown for too long and likely can never shine light on a sensible new idea.

> Davis said, “We will start with egg production. Next up is the poultry industry, and eventually, similarly large investments in meats, fruits, and vegetables, as well as specialty Bahamian produce."

So why have you waited until now to lay claim that you yourself can do such things? Oh, that's right, I forgot how you botched up the government sponsored large scale farming project in Andros that should have been feeding our nation by now. But I have not forgot about that project's $2 million building that burnt down which you neglected to insure as the cabinet minister responsible for the farming project.

> He {Davis} emphasised that these moments of uncertainty test leadership and the ability to prevail.

This should have us all shaking in our boots because we know this delusional wimp has already failed leadership test after leadership test. Davis is a coward who can't get on board a plane fast enough to visit a U.S. hospital whenever he feels ill.

> “Let me be equally clear: engagement does not mean compromise,” he [Davis} said. “We will not abandon our national priorities to fit neatly within the designs of others. We will not be pressured into choices that do not serve the best interests of our people......We will not be dictated to, and we will not be sidelined.”

Just who does this wimp with his rat-sized pair think he's kidding with his bravado act?! President Trump has proven time and time again that he has a lion's pair between his legs. We had better hope Davis fully appreciates that U.S. pre-clearance facilities, U.S. visitor and business visas, and U.S. student visas, etc., serve the best interests of our people. After all, are we really going to stand by and let the very corrupt Davis take all of us down with him?!

> He {Davis} noted that The Bahamas has positioned itself as a leader in global discussions relevant to its future through engagement.

Now that's laughably rich coming from a wimpish guy who has made a complete and utter fool of himself and our nation by claiming to have great concern for the impacts of climate change on our environment while allowing toxic polluting particulates to be spewed all over our people by cruise ships and now rockets.

Davis should be run out of office by the people, and the sooner the better.
