The 4 million guesstimate is nothing but BS and I would not be surprised if they are counting passengers travelling through the airport who are both arriving and leaving. We must ask ourselves why they always refuse to provide clearly defines statistics for just hotel staying guests alone, without including in their numbers travelling Bahamians and other residents.

Obvioulsy Vernice Walkine has been told by the corrupt likes of Chester the Jester and his foreign born girl friend, Joy Jibrilu, to get out there in the public and carry dirty water for corrupt Chester the Jester and PM Davis who are well rewarded for all the genuflecting they do for the corrupt foreign owners and operators of the cruise ship enterprises like Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Disney, and so on.

We, the people, know full well that the life blood of our economy, ourstandard of living and our quality of life have all been demolished by these blood sucking cruise ship enterprises and the partnership they enjoy with our corrupt senior politicians and their minions like Walkine and Jibrilu. Yet these despicable bozos continue to take all of us for fools as they go about fattening their own pockets at great cost to our economy and the rest of us.

The electricity rate hike Grand Bahamians are protesting is nothing compared to the rate increases the insatiably greedy Snake and his most crooked side-kick Anthony Ferguson have planned for New Providence with the blessing of corrupt PM Davis.

These are all excellent ideas worthy of serious consideration.

It truly is a crying shame that we do not have any men or women of great integrity and political stature in our society today who would be capable of getting the public support necessary to press for meaningful action on many of your good ideas here.

Assassins for hire and kidnappings for ransom are about to take hold in our country and this will no doubt trigger targeted and victimized influential Bahamian families of financial means to seek their own kind of vigilante justice for all the havoc wreaked on our small nation by corrupt political leaders and their favoured cronies.

I really have to laugh at Neil, Sandy, Julian and Daphne for trying to make news out of a serious matter that so many of us have been talking about for more than two decades now. Our economy literally has been crippled, almost demolished, by the refusal of our corrupt "on-the-take" senior politicians to establish policies aimed at pivoting our tourism industry away from cruise visitors to stopover visitors.

Here are the key points that sly Michael Darville chose to ignore while readily admitting Davis could have received the medical treatment he needed in the Bahamas:

1) Davis made a personal decision to run for elected office and then to seek and accept the appointment as PM. In doing so he has a duty and commitment to lead by example and to instill in the Bahamian people confidence in the public healthcare system that his government is responsible for maintaining to an acceptable standard on their behalf.

2) Davis is adorned with a generous salary, allowances, the benefits of a deluxe health insurance plan, and many other perks afforded a sitting PM, and all at great cost to the taxpayers. If, as Darville suggested, he could have received the treatment he needed here in The Bahamas, then why on earth would he choose to greatly enrich a foreign medical facility and foreign medical personnel rather than have the costs of his treatment spent here in our country?!

3) Our PM was elected and is paid to be on the job as much as possible given the responsibilities, duties and frequent urgent demands made on his official office. With that in mind, he should have received his treatment in The Bahamas to avoid the inordinate delay in his return to our country because of his inability to travel during his post-op recovery period.

These are the inescapable truths that all speak to the very poor judgment exercised by Davis and the lame excuses made by Darville on his behalf. Both Davis and Darville must take all of us to be fools.

Toni Seymour likely did not even appreciate that she was making a complete and utter fool of herself at the press briefing. Now she's just a mouth piece for the Snake!

Word on the street has it that Stumpy Davis has been advised to keep a low profile and get a tight lid put on this entire matter asap if he values his own well-being. Gangsterism and killer goon squads are prone to being cultivated within law enforcement departments whenever corrupt senior government officials set a criminal tone from the top......it's just a natural by-product of thuggery run amok within corrupt governments. Lest we forget, there are numerous violent criminal gang leaders in Haiti today who were at one time law enforcement officers.
