Sadly, things have deteriorated to the point where only a violent rebellion can free the Bahamian people from the deeply ingrained political corruption that now pervades The Bahamas under an Authoritarian Marxist-Socialist regime controlled by a ruling political elite and their wealthy cronies, whether they be of the PLP or FNM persuasion. And to think all of this was accomplished since 1973 under the hideous guise of a parliamentary democracy. What a joke!

Clay Sweeting and every other PLP cabinet minister knows well the play book in the months leading up to a national general election. When it appears likely the reins of power will be won at the polls by another party, the new incoming party must be politically handicapped from day one by finding all the cupboards bare and a massive stack of delinquent bills owing to creditors totalling millions and millions of dollars. This is why our country remains financially crippled with spiraling costly debt.

> .....successful implementation, he {Bowe} added, requires the provision of financing and resources for its efforts by the Government as well as buy-in by key stakeholders, politicians from all sides, and wider Bahamian society.

Therein lies the rub. And Felix Stubbs was appointed chairman of the newly-appointed steering committee by the hierarchy of the ruling political elite for one purpose only: To contain and stymie Bowe as much as possible from embarrassing senior members of the ruling political elite with indisputable facts no matter which political party holds the reins of power.

Does Darron Nixon really live and work in the Bahamas???

Notwithstanding Pickstock's resignation as a senator, Stumpy Davis has no doubt assured him that he will continue receiving a senator's pay and benefits until the election is over.

And in exchange for its overwhelming display of generosity and kindness, SpaceX will get to continue its rocket operations in and over the Bahamas that spew hazardous substances, including highly toxic particulates, all over our pristine environment and the Bahamian people. Do you really think Elon Musk and his biggest customer, the U.S. government, have any shame for their soulless transgressions against the Bahamian people? We know what the pro is, but who in the Bahamian government is getting the quid? Is it really only just Chester the Jester?

> Asked about this, Mrs Frazier said: “Sentencing is an art. There is no one fixed rule for every case.”

Frazier's just another dumb arse in our legal system who doesn't have the foggiest notion why Lady Justice is blindfolded.

Word "decades" is missing from end of last sentence of first paragraph above.

This is a sure fire recipe for the collapse of our nation's financial system if payment agents are not subject to the same or very similar supervisory oversight, capital requirements and other prudential norms that apply to licensed Bahamian banks and trust companies.

As things stand now, the Bank Supervision Dept. of The Central Bank can barely cope with regulating the local commercial banks. Trying to properly oversee and regulate umpteen bank paying agents will be next to impossible when you think how many unscrupulous individuals will be seeking to become bank paying agents of one kind or another.

And just think how many millions of dollars of bank depositors' funds will be annually flowing through the hands of these new bank paying agents who are about to latch themselves on to the commercial banks like leeches. Yup, this is a sure fire recipe for bank failures to come.
