Bottom line: All of the rating agencies continue to regard debt issued by the Bahamas government to be junk grade. That's right, non-investment grade junk!

This means our country cannot afford the very high interest rates that lenders in the international credit markets now demand for altogether new borrowings as opposed to roll-overs of existing borrowings. Not good!

The Bahamas government and the CCP had both better tread very carefully here given the relationship the Izmirlian family enjoys with the Trump family. This is one matter that Doofus AG Pinder and "PLP Go-To" Winder would be wise to steer well clear of by simply respecting, and doing nothing to interfere with, the clear and well-grounded findings of the New York courts.

And to think Stumpy Davis is chauffeured about town in a luxuriously fully loaded BMW that likely cost us taxpayers well upwards of $200,000. Davis does not deserve such opulence at the people's expense whereas the determined young mother in this news story deserves so much more.

MSC was founded by the Italian Aponte family and is independently owned and registered in Geneva, Switzerland. Rumours abound that its explosive growth in recent decades to become the world's largest shipper of cargo by tonnage is attributable to significant and highly secretive vessel and port sharing arrangements that it has with entities controlled by the CCP. The last thing our nation needs right now is another major connection to the ChiComs to spike the ire of the Trump administration.

We have many more in our small nation who are just as destitute if not much more destitute than this young child. Perhaps the very wealthy owner(s) of The Tribune can help Royaltee by means other than simply writing having their newspaper write an intended tearful story for its readers.

> PRIME Minister Philip Davis warned that newly announced US tariffs have placed The Bahamas in “unchartered territory,” with potentially serious consequences for local exporters, the cost of living, and the tourism sector.

No Mr. Prime Minister, it is the extremely corrupt and incompetent PLP government that you lead which has brought this nightmarish situation upon the Bahamian people. Stop pointing the finger at others. The Bahamian people really need to do something about you and your cronies.

Small wonder Trump requested the Bahamas be added to list of countries for which he receives daily national intelligence (security) briefings. Not good!

I suspect some kind of ***export*** tariff on all goods shipped to the Bahamas from any US port may be under consideration by the Trump administration as a means of putting pressure on Bahamians to put their own serious pressure on this most corrupt and incompetent Davis led PLP government to do much, much, more than the very little it has done to fight out-of-control criminal violence in our country that is now harmfully impacting US visitors.

And of course President Trump is not the least bit happy with our nation's other problems impacting the national security interests of the US, e.g., lack of meaningful efforts by this disastrous Davis led PLP government to help reduce influx into the US via the Bahamas of illegal aliens (including violent gang members), drugs, arms, humans who are victims of trafficking, the proceeds of crime through money-laundering, etc., etc. All not good!!!
