Well I'm glad Cat Island is getting the love because other than being the home of Sidney Poitier and Rake 'n Scrape I feel they are often ignored.
Nevertheless I will note that this visit seems purely political, as there have been Hospitals, Airport, and Road Shortages for years on other islands yet the talk on that is zilch.
I'm not just talking PMH in Nassau or the Rand in GB, but the Freeport Airport, Rock Sound Airport, the Exuma Hospital, and etc. I hope the government remembers the other family islands as well as deal with the most pressing problems before going on tour.
IDK, that sounds like the RBPF job, whether they can handle it not sure, but I would say you need effective policy as a starting point to solve the problem. Once we got a good idea we can work on enforcing it.
Yeah but the Private Medical Industry isn't giving their money to bums. They are taking money of hard working Bahamians at an ever increasing rate for service they rarely provide. Profit horrendous amounts, pricing out Bahamians from insurance, and keep the money for their mansions instead of it going to PMH (via VAT) where more Bahamians are forced to receive care.
The Government, Indeed has a terrible record, you don't have to remind me. But, the scheme the insurance agencies are pulling won't ever be profitable for the average Bahamian, Public Healthcare, or the privately insured. If so please explain how?
They will never develop higher standards of Healthcare in this country and only keep Bahamians who do make money burdened while paying their profits. At least National Health Insurance ( if done right) can put its money into our hospitals and clinics.
I think it is more important if the products of Partanna will be more or equally as durable, cost efficient, and easy to produce as normal concrete. As the environmental output of the Bahamas is negligible and will not change anything. If this can export it would be a good industry to develop.
Maybe Brave should make Village Rd his next destination since he decided he'd be in country for sightseeing. I mean really you can't be a touristy country and not have a Professional Tourist as a PM.
Yep the idiot's and scumbags of the PLP gave way the money making opportunity of Gaming away like the do with everything that benefits the Bahamian people. They didn't listen to the Bahamian people and screwed up even worse. Apparently, No meant Yes to them when it came to legalizing gamboling but when it came to nationalizing the profits for the people and good causes, NO means NO.
Like I said on a earlier post any work permit given out should have a sponsors(Bahamian/permanent resident) and immigration officer who approved of it name attached. So if there is fraud it is blatant and can be tracked to the source.
When it comes to weapon smuggling the police need to look for the source offer a plea deal if someone reveals who is bringing in the weapons it can't be more than 100 crucial people
I like how Brave says he is satisfied with the account like he is supposed to have any say in the matter. That Police officer either has been blackmailed or living it up. Am sorry to say I am shocked but not actually shocked.
Yeah these Private Health Insurers were already charging people a heart & a lung, now they are mad they won't be able to keep millions of dollars extra they earn and charge Bahamians. Now they threaten to charge Bahamians more for not making enough profit via semi-fraudulent means.
I think these Insurance companies don't realize people are about done with their leeching. Its good for once that the government is holding Private Industry to account correctly, because no matter what it seems like they would continue to try to rip off Bahamians and not pay a cent of tax.
