Uh I hope he has agriculture, energy, and transportation as a part of that portfolio.

Because a people who can't feed themselves shall not prosper, a nation that cannot find a source of energy can't be productive, and workforce that spends quarter their wage on fuel each week and spend 1 hr in traffic shall not advance economically.

People are struggling to find good and cheap produce, when in the past we once grew 2 times our need. If we don't become self sufficient again we are only going to keep draining our coffers dry and when something bad happens we end up in famine/begging for food. Davis need to invest in agricultural companies, startups, and BAMSI.

Now when it comes too energy the solution is more difficult however we must become as self sufficient as possible, It only takes America saying NO during a global shortage to leave us up the creek. Although, renewables(solar) is the obvious answer it would be wise to only use it to lessen the cost of energy. Due to our location in the Hurricane belt full reliance on solar would be risky, however we can't keep losing millions of dollars on fuel when we have the sun

Last, is transport, which needs to shift towards public transportation. Although we have the Jitney system, we need to seriously upgrade it for it to be viable. In this day and age the Bahamian people can't keep spending so much on gas (a foreign resource) to get around, we are just poorer because of it. Eliminating it and replacing it with reliable and widespread public transport would help enrichen so many households.

So we need route maps, proper jitney stops, timetables etc, so Bahamians can trust taking the bus. Thus we'll end up with less traffic, less road wear, less expenses, less accidents, less pollution, more productivity.

I pray to GOD please, give the Government wisdom

Nah he is just the PLP's talking head. Unfortunately he'll learn that this administration does what's in it's personal interest first and does the harder but necessary task last.

Now that's unconstitutional but you right tho. Lincoln ain't breaking the law per say(maybe) but his strategies don't seem to be realistic and humane.

Yeah but it is the governments responsibility that the citizens can make a livable wage and can afford the basic needs in life. This government hasn't made it easier to live, less costly to live or increased the wage substantially in this country.

On Independence ...from what?

This would require the Government to change its whole economic structure to prevent Bahamian business from being overrun whilst allowing International workers equal employment to Bahamians. Taxes such as customs would have to change and income tax would have to be taken to make up the deficit.

The government of this new day isn't ready as they refuse to make the basic reforms of today, democratic, economic, and state.

I think moving towards working with the Caribbean is the right direction. However, it should be limited and done slowly. We'd be better trying to get treaties and agreements with Bermuda and TCI at the moment who are our Cultural, economic, Geographic neighbors. Because they are economies that are more balanced to ours.

Things like a Travel Free areas, Common Fishing Policy, Common Certification, freedom of study policy, and freedom of work with them would be useful but tame treaties to make.

Unfortunately, for us opening up to caricom completely without assurance and compensation would leave this country in a bad places and swamped with immigration without the ability to provide said immigrants with services.

If a comment by the leader of opposition of all people can prejudice the courts then its the courts that need the help.

AG when you get criticism you don't need to project it on towards others to try and cover the burn. Just say your working on it beforehand and nobody will be guessing if your doing your job.

To be honest women's organization cannot say the church has no right to offer opinions and be heard because they are some of the largest public organizations in the country with plenty of women in them. Yes, churches have women's groups.

I say either you want a comprehensive bill or a rushed bill.
