How about steepen the penalty for illegal firearm possession. If your caught smuggling weapons or ammo you get Death. If these criminals are willing to deal in the Business of life and death. Selling away lives for a couple thousand dollar profit, they should get it back equally.

It has nothing to do with the car it has to do with speed. If you had an large American vehicle you'd maybe survive, I'm being honest, but anyone you hit wouldn't have a chance. You'd still get in an accident its just with more mass and speed there's more destruction

The only reason you see the trend small Japanese vehicle is because
1. They make up a large percentage of the driving percentage
2. People in this country speed and disregard speed as a necessary control, Small Cars will actually get damaged.
3.Selection Bias, There is literally a Cadillac and Chevy in this story but you ignore it.
