Lots of guns being randomly found in bushes. You have to wonder how many are out there. Who is keeping the stockpile supplied.

Why are we allowing private companies to charge us for basic services, a water company should supply its own water.

In order for an economy to function you need taxes but the way the government went about this is disastrous. They seem like they want to crash the economy and run people out of business rather than improving tax efficiency to prevent avoidance.

I think if more effort were placed into ensuring that anyone who left school were forced to achieve accreditation and training, that would be a good start. Making it so leavers have a choice between trade school as well as some type of national service, like the defence force or police force.

I agree we must put some effort into preserving our history, as well as the architectural beauty of this structure. Although I don't expect much when our government can't and don't take care of a building more than 30 years. Surprised parliament wasn't demolished yet.

The only crisis is the over-reliance of individual sand state on this one foreign and expensive resource. Yet the government doesn't seem interested in addressing the issue.

I think this article is very on point. We need to review and improve our maritime and fishing laws. We need to find ways to protect our wild life/fish from destructive harvesting practices foreign and domestic.
We need to enforce restriction of fish amongst tourist who visit and ensure that they don't break our law. As well as improve our nations methods of monitoring poachers using aerial surveillance.

Lastly we need to step up on policies for local fishermen to encourage them not partake in bad practices, which ultimately destroy our reefs and fish stocks.

If this court rules in favour of the shantytowns somehow then I can only say that make it impossible for the government to order an eviction.

I just ask how is it possible that the rules are illegal to enforce.
