We live in an archipelagic nation, hit with hurricanes, and poor in agriculture/terrain. How is it we allow ourselves to not know how to swim. We should be masters of swimming and sailing.
This is the way our ancestors made a living primarily. Unfortunately the average Bahamian today would starve from lack of environmental awareness and common sense of where our country is.
We need to restore our national survival mindset and the government needs to to encourage all children to learn to swim and enroll in programs making it national policy.
The Island is flat, not suitable for development. If your buildings get destroyed all the time you cant make a stable economy/industry. Abaco, Andros, Eleuthera, Exuma, and even Inagua have a clearer direction.
The only thing the island looks suitable for is logging and marine farming.
Mr. Brave Davis the Guns have to be coming from somewhere and the ammo. Find the trail and snuff it out. Set the death penalty for smuggling of weapons and ammo. If you want to supply others the means to kill for wealth because you don't care, you need a reality check.
Wow its almost as who ever the bail record keeper or electronic monitors are letting aspiring murders get the info they need to commit their crime. Not saying how this is happening but its occurring somehow.
Maybe someone has a loose tongue or their are traitors in the midst.
When you leave buildings vacant fire are more likely, either from flammable debris or accidental homeless fires, even Arson. This is why if your struggling to keep buildings functioning you should destroy it or preserve it. Or if it is historical like in downtown Nassau make it a house or something.
I pretty sure this is where they keeping the gold and the place has a tendency to catch fire. Like now I feel that they are gonna get or treasure destroyed.
GB development has always been a struggle. The whole reason it has the Port is because it was historically under-developed.
GB investment is almost like beating a dead horse. They need a 10+ year plan to stabilise the island, not just throwing cash and hoping the problems wont stay.
Any Marijuana laws without regulation is gonna be a disaster. They should take it slow but this government always doesn't do its research and rushes things for approval.
