Don't vote for neither of them then. You complaining about back and forward, then going to do the same old. End the cycle. Those 2 party need to retire.
If they are entitled to citizenship they should get citizenship. If they aren't they will not get it and should not. i find this US lecture most amusing because they fail at most of these issues themselves. You cant catch normal public transport in some part of America yet they have the nerve call us out for not having disability public transport. It is a thing we should look into but its still a comical demeanor that America is projecting.
This country needs to ditch gas and go electric. Investment needs to be placed in public transport. We don't produce oil and we will always pay extra at are expense. This situation is the exact reason we should move away from it. This countries security is in high stakes. However:
1. Dis will hurt some wealthy elite so it most likely wont happen ( same reason the government silent on it now)
2. The Jitney drivers will make noise despite running a pop down system(Don't even have a bus map or timetable)
3. The taxi drivers will make noise that they cant charge tourist exorbitant prices anymore at the expense of their fellow citizen.
So many abandoned buildings in this country, especially downtown yet we have this going on. Yet they'll go spend up there money and taking up more land on housing when we already have unused land.
One solution to this problem, Reduce the Bahamas' reliance on fuel. But that would hurt someone's pocket so they don't.
Invest in Solar energy and Reform Public Transport. Bahamians are being economically starved for a resource we cant make. It is a matter of National Security.
