I think he should be allowed but the government should be clear on his position, salary, and the purpose he serves. Any public officials should be able to be scrutinized on why they must whole their position.

You need to tax the cruise ship companies as "Environmental Mitigation" for the damage they cause. They need us and our islands, yet treat us badly and not give us much in return other than sewage sludge in our waters.
In most countries crime is dealt with by civil service initiatives via the Police Force and Governing Agencies. In no way should the PM be muddling his fingers in everyday issues other then legislating better policies.
This shows how broken our civil services is and how rattered and tattered it'll become when it is somehow unable to cope without a politicians help.
