Politicians do not give two-cents about the concerns of the small percentage of Bahamians who are apprehension about the stability of our political process here in The Bahama. To make the situation even more worrisome: is to have the Prime Minister of The Bahamas respond to questions of the stability of the county's government by saying "do he or his cabinet look unhappy" or in other words "who gives a shit". Well I give and though the numbers may be small I am sure other Bahamians are concern about what is developing in our PLP lead government. The question to ask is why are we (Bahamians) muted to what could be a failure in the ability, of the Christie PLP lead government, to lead our country with confidence. A Honest, decent, concern Government would consider itself in breach of the trust of its people - while a government with a repressive predisposition would comfortable continue to satisfied the appeal of its base by appeasing them with promises and more promises. All in a selfish obsession to hold on to power even to the further decay of the Bahamas and the Bahamian people.

its not just the maintenance of the asphalt roads, the problem comes in where contractors are not fallowing or given guideline from Government agencies on how to build our road, or government agencies just do not give a SHIT... about how taxpayers monies are being wasted. The road builders don't apply any Sealing Systems not-to-mention adhering to standard construction specifications for asphalt surfacing. If the the wrong aggregate, poor composition of Mix and insufficient compaction is the practice here in the Bahamas ...the road will develop pot holes.

Mr D’Aguilar should truly shut his trap ...he is purposely dishonest, out of the loop and playing with the Baha Mar issue in a destructive way. He has not once offered a remedy for paying Bahamian contractors, who the company that he is/was a board member, owe millions; and is only concern with his own interest.

Our leadership is so autocratic and the policies of the governing party is so party centrical that it’s no surprise that the county is spiraling down the economic ladder. The so called Public-private partnership initiative that Mr Christie so eloquently talked about 2 years ago has not produce any fruits, not because proposals were not put forward – but because the presenters were not perceived to be party supports. Some of the proposal could create 100s of high paying jobs and some are called “very necessary” for the countries modernization process. But the offers has vanished in to the dust-bins of not interested or have found its way in to the hands of party supporters or front-men. This is what is wrong with The Bahamas and it most stop. For to long the masses have being held down for the benefit of a privilege few. The Bahamas has great potentials and some of the brightest minds in comparison to other countries – but the mind-set of its leadership is (WLS) primitive.

like everything else, collectively FNMs have to rise to the occasion ...and the occasion is now! But without leadership, determination and strength - the effort is futile. Leaders must call rallies organize week long demonstrations and demand change - now!

did Perry Christie assault Kyle Walkine while covering the Damian Gomez Resignation from Cabinet, yesterday? Or was the uniform senior police officer being overly aggressive.

Photo Frames of the encounter shows an angry Perry Christie leaving the House of Assembly and what appears to be an encounter with the reporter (Kyle Walkine) while a senior police officer appear to come between the 2 men.

only a Tweedledum would say “Do I look unhappy?” ... “Do they look unhappy,” about his Tweedledee Cabinet ...but its also the contempt and disrespect he has for the Bahamian people who want to know how their Government feels about what appears to be a collapse of his PLP Government.

The people have a right to know and not to be insulted by paid servants.

OPM is the idea ...The Bahamas sits on the equator which gives it aeronautic and space capital. Capital in marine, geo, bio, historical resources are given away (aragonite, salt …etc.) Even with access to funding ...in the Bahamas as a Bahamian, the Willie Lynch Syndrome still prevalent in the minds of our so called leaders. If you don't support or if it is believed that you or your family is not a supporter of the PLP your contribution to the Bahamas as a Bahamian is ignored.
