Why do you guys quote this guy (Mr D’Aguilar) he obviously has no clue and is obviously out of the loop regarding any of the inner workings or negotiations between Baha Mar and the other parties. This guy in my opinion is just another blue juice sucker looking to soften the ride for a bad foreign investor - to his own interest with no regard for what is best for the Bahamas and The Bahamian people.
Mr. D'Aguilar want readers to believe that the Chinese are all "stupid nincompoop" and Sliver Spoon Pretty Boy is the only game in town that can operate a hotel ...he had a dream (Baha Mar) but we all can dream, if the Chinese wants: there are Chinese Brands that are quite successful and taking over the Baha Mar project would be a small task for the likes of Shangri-La Group, this operator would put any of the other hotels here to shame and terms of service.

My concern is how will my company be paid for work done for Baha Mar directly? And why is nothing being said to small companies by Baha Mar, the small companies that are caught in the meddle of this mess. Bahamian companies with employees who have not been paid for work done back in March of this year and having to hold-off supplies and subs who don't care that you are having a problem getting paid outstanding from Baha Mar - I could not get my outstanding from Baha Mar for over 5 months.

...the Baha Mar (Izmirlian family) group is obvious playing games with this project as they did with another project where In 1999, Gambia's government accused Izmirlian's family (Alimenta) of money laundering and seized processing plants belonging to the company.

The story goes as reported on the US Government site - http://www.state.gov/e/eb/rls/othr/ics/…

The (Izmirlian) Alimenta groundnut processing plant at Denton Bridge is the biggest industrial complex in the country and the government takeover sparked off a protracted legal battle. The government eventually settled out of court and paid Alimenta compensation of US$11.2 million.

Dikran Izmirlian, 77 (Sarkis Father) is registered as the director of Alimenta UK Ltd, a shell company with total assets of £100 and no record of having traded in that
country, Mr Izmirlian made his fortune by creating a near-monopoly on
the world's peanut market.

Sarkis Izmirlian, is registered as living in Lyford Cay, an exclusive residential enclave on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, where he also claims nationality.

"yellow team partners - the Chinese!" ...this is offensive and racist. and if you knew who I am you would immediately apologize for asserting that I am a paid misinformation agent of the PLP of all people.

When you see my name: Franklyn always remember - Paradise Lost, Nation for Sale, Brain Ross and the Commission of Inquire ...then you would not confuse me with being an agent for the PLP ...sorry.

Banker looking at this issue through politically tinted sun shades ...we the local contractors can but hope that this Government can do what is best, I can only hope, in the interest of the Bahamian people and those Bahamian providers who were played by Baha Mar, we have done the work as requested by BML and had to jump hoops and duck bullets trying to get paid for more than 6 months. Now you expect for there to be support for these people, I want my money - the hell with what party it is (PLP or FNM) these guys have the control of Government and my support goes where I see hope for getting my money ($56,000.00) ...this is the story that is not being told ...work than directly for (BML) Baha Mar Ltd ...and not as a CCA Sub.
