Always good to see our fledgling tech sector grow.

Lol, election rallies. You better hope that you can find people to show up to them at this rate. What did Ingraham say the PLP was using in 2012, "holograms", the FNM may need to start finding suppliers.

"When Will This Brutality End?"

Never.

In response to the second column, the government can't help everyone. Bahamians need to start looking at things from a personal responsibility standpoint instead of a wait and let the government fix everything for me standpoint (which they never will).

Young Bahamians need to start learning applicable skills to start businesses with and generate their own wealth, and not go off to school for four years just to get a generic degree. There are a limited amount of industries here, which makes it even more important to ensure that you specialize in the right field.

I highly doubt that she would be charged if she went to the police, given the circumstances of this case. It was probably a situation where post-partum depression was involved, and the Crown would definitely take that into account. Sad what our country is coming to.

I agree with much of what you write, but will disagree with you on this line :

"Are we living in Saudi Arabia here????????????????? Women are the lowest dogs in this country, treated worse than junk yard dogs."

In Saudi Arabia, women certainly aren't writing articles demanding to compromise 50% of corporate boardroom positions, or comprise 50% of elected MPs for the mere fact that they have a vagina. Women here have the same rights and privileges as men albeit the citizenship issue which this government is going aiming to rectify. To be honest, I wish they would eliminate the pathway to citizenship through marriage completely (for men and women), the Bahamas is as overpopulated as it is and we don't have the room nor resources for too many more.

We really do not need to import the American made up grievance culture over here with hyperbole like this.

"coercing"

That is soon to be forcing, you will soon see many of these nations pass mandatory vaccination laws. We need to learn from the example of Denmark, their loony government was all aboard the mandatory vaccination train until enough people banged outside of their parliament with pots and pans until they reconsidered.

It may surprise you to know but many Americans and Canadians (as well as British, Germans, other expats) all do much more for our little country than just buy a home and vacation here. Many are involved in the different communities and try to give back where they can.

Many of them actually want to see the community succeed and consider the Bahamas a second home. To be quite frank, some care more for the Bahamas than most Bahamians.

Lol, my God they are trying to sissify the young men here now. On a serious note, the US/Canada has everything that this article could ever dream of, immigration to Canada at least really isn't that difficult.

Whether anyone here likes it or not, the Bahamas is a majority Christian nation (in name at least). How many live their Christianity is up for debate, but don't be surprised when non-Christian values are frowned upon. The US/Canada are more secular societies that have no problem expecting (and forcing in certain instances) Christians to live according the norms, so why should non-Christians not be expected to live according to what is considered the norm among the majority here.

We have so many bigger issues facing this nation than worrying about sissying or getting offended by prayer that it isn't even remotely funny. Everyone better start praying to Jesus regarding the economic hardships that are coming because the FNM, PLP, and whoever other jokers run aren't going to be able to fix it.

Wel...at least there won't be anything in the Treasury to steal if Davis gets in lol.

Regarding China, they have already won. Even if Trump manages to win every single one of his court cases, the vast majority of the American public (and Bahamian I might add) are completely oblivious to the plans that Xi and his buddies in the Communist Party have for them. Me and you see the big picture, but most don't. Better start learning Mandarin now lol...or finding one of these little cays to go hide on.

I actually think that our backwardsness may be a benefit in this instance. Let other nations be the guinea-pig for this hastily developed concoction.
