They're faking them anyway, I've heard they even come here off the sloop with work permit in hand.

Thing is there's no telling if he even said that. He was accused of saying it with no proof, but whether he said it or not, it's true. Trump was the best thing to happen to the USA in many decades, too bad.

And who are these "people" that are hunting and eating raccoons? Haitians? Raccoons have been here a long time and I've never heard any Bahamian talk about eating them before.

On Why would killing raccoons be okay?

I don't understand how they were allowed to rebuild their hovels after Dorian, that was the perfect time to lay down the law using the defense force. Just shows how much these politicians don't care.

Haitians tried this once in the Turks and Caicos islands, the British government had to come and put the Haitians in their place with force. So a gradual process went on afterwards, a constant inflow of illegals. Now Turks and Caicos is overrun with Haitians, Jamaicans and Dominicans. That place used to be virtually crime free, now tourists are getting murdered downtown in the crossfire of foreign gang warfare. The British and the Bahamas had to send police over there. Many of the Turks Islanders have already left to the UK and US, there are those that remain, but that place will never be like it was before. The same gradual process is already taking place here. It will happen eventually, especially say if America balkanizes.

Oh really? Are you asserting that there will be a time when Haitians are not around? And when is that going to be? Never is when. John Pinder may be White but he is a Bahamian so he is right to speak of "ancestors". Black and White Bahamians share a recent common history and culture. Haitians on the other hand are not Bahamian, they don't speak English, they are different from White AND Black Bahamians culturally. Nationality should come before race, often doesn't but it should. Well I'd rather share an island with White Bahamians who I can understand and gel with culturally vs Haitians who I don't understand and practice witchcraft.

We can see that the common factor is that there are too many, yes? Maybe if there were less of them then people wouldn't complain so much. I'd rather have a diverse group of immigrants from all over the world settle here versus just a legion of Haitians invading the country and turning it into Haiti #2. They are flooding this country, and that is a problem because the Bahamas can't absorb them. Immigration should always be a controlled process, unchecked immigration is pure insanity, would you open the door to your home and let any stranger off the street come and live with you? Of course not, then why do you think a country is any different?

BTC has the worst customer service of any major company on this island. If you get some service from them you better hope nothing ever goes wrong with it. You'll be sitting for hours in their Mall location like you're in PMH.

On BTC mishaps?

We're already paying VAT. Why don't you go tax the gambling houses that are raking in millions of dollars from poor suckers everyday to make their bosses rich while producing nothing and contributing nothing to society? The people already voted no against gambling yet you legalized it anyway. You rewarded the criminals running these organizations to the detriment of the Bahamian Banking/Financial system. Now running on about soda and fat? Might as well ban 99% of restaurants on the island then cause it's pretty much mostly grease, sugar and salt being served everywhere.
