NHI is a disaster in the making with three components: 1. a poor, unemployed population, 2. a unhealthy population, 3. no co-pay. So if I am a overweight ("fat"), unemployed middle aged man with diabetes my day will look like this: 0900 breakfast (eggs, bacon, grits, ginger beer), 1030 appointment with my primary care physician to take blood pressure, sugar blood levels, weight, 1200 meeting friends at Popeye's for some fried chicken and spicy sauce with a diet soda. 230 pm (who tight schedule!!) meeting with the nutritionist to go over some options for nutrition. 330 pm meeting with foot doctor, to treat the grown-in nails that are really bothering, pedicure. (shoot, missed school pick up). 430 pm going for a couple of drinks (will walk from the car parking to the bar to get my daily exercise) 830 pm angry wife calls and reminds me that I am yet again late for dinner. - walking back to car parking (double the daily exercise!! yeay) - going home to reward me with some healthy food and beer. I don't work out twice every day.... good luck and good night Bahamas.

I like the title of the article. It is indeed a Christmas present.

its a perfect way to a company like MSC to channel some money to. overpay, write it off. We call it "land banking" in the industry. But it saves them a lot of money in gas, as they can squeeze in an extra stop between Fl. Lauderdale/Miami and Nassau.

I think it is an interesting project. And still it is a project. like the 2000 others for which this Government has signed agreements for.

How about someone dies from a dental infection because no one treated it, or was around to treat it? You for sure sound like a government employee yourself. Last Man Standing. I salute you.

because there is nothing in it for the politicians. voters don't have money to grease you. voters will get their free hamburger and t-shirt around the time of election in exchange for their vote. else voters are just a latent nuisance.

the government authorities are in the process to alert PGC to make an announcement to the public, that communication of high importance to the public will be imminent in this matter.
