You and far too many stay too long. Some like Lanisha Rolle prove daily that they should have never gotten into politics in the first place. Most politicians are painfully average in their thinking and do more harm than good. Few are memorable. Too many are corrupt.

Why are we still arresting people for marijuana? What a waste of time resources. This could be a viable export industry but backward thinking has enshrined the Bahamas as a nation of followers.

Jujutreeclub and Thomas- Yall dumb as dirt. There is such a thing as implied meaning- everything isn't literal. Clearly lack any critical thinking skills - the bane of the country. Tell the young ladies who used to have to walk past the old Burger King on Charlotte street corner how being dressed appropriately helped them from getting feel up back in the day. Didn't work then and it won't work now. Stop blaming victims for being victimized.

What's going on here? Could it be that Ms. Curry couldn't work under a minister who appears ill-suited for the job such as Ms. Rolle?

Not sure she is it? I am certain she isnt it. She proved she wasn't leading up to the election and here we go again. This is the quality of thinker we elect to look after our interests again and again. Low quality.

I saw that video- it was shared so freely. Interesting and convenient that when we needed to see the face of one of the perps, it was blotted out.

You should have refused to eat that- but didn't and frankly that is part of the problem. Fishermen keep kicking the can down the road and they have convinced themselves that they are in the business of supply and demand. We are addicts, so supply will be done soon. Many years ago I was doing some work in Curacao and went to their dock for fresh fish and found conch -which I promptly bought. The conch was so big I was able to make dinner and eat from it for two days- ONE conch. Even then the conchs down south were bigger than ours so its not that we are the only people with it. However, we are probably the only ones willing to sell it and our future for a bowl of porridge.

Greentea says...

Yeah but tell that to the politicians who think they are doing something opening up our lobster industry to export to China- a country whose insatiable appetite for seafood has led to the depletion of fishing resources where ever they have roamed.

We need to deal with crime, but are we ok with the police being a hit squad? These dudes just coming back with bigger guns armed for war. I saw this for two reasons- a few things bother me about this story:
1. "the fifth police-involved killing in a month"
2. For someone in a shoot out with the police- the assumption being both parties were shooting at each other, that the deceased was found with a "fully loaded pistol" is sorta curious no?
