$150 per week is ridiculous and should be criminal. To defend it by saying that an increase will cost jobs is baloney. Why not pay $100 a week then? Or $75? Businesses would be better able to afford to hire more surely. $250 should be minimum pay for a full week of work.
It is near impossible for an adult to survive on $150.00 per week. The wage should have been increased a long time ago. The business community can cry all they want....people have got to live!
This administration bungles every single thing that it touches. Why enact laws if they have no intention of abiding by them? Or could it be that the laws are for us and not for them?
Because she is a CHILD, who is not yet entitled by law or reason to make her own decisions. How outrageous can it be that a troubled teenage child is arrested and released into the custody of persons not authorized to take or properly take care of her. The police had a responsibility here and no amount of ducking can excuse them if they didn't follow the law or proper procedures here.
