Threw? Two caskets slipped so they threw all the caskets in. How do you know they refuse to do testing, their statement said that the results were inclusive and required deeper analysis. What exactly does the govt get out of burying empty caskets and not testing dna? So your saying that the govt should release remains because someone swears they saw x in the trailer?
This isnt the first time this year govt employees have leaked confidential information which has been public fodder and subject of news articles. I agree that needs to be punished and investigated more. They should be sued to the ground or terminated. It is unprofessional, the behaviour of a sabotuer and seems to always have some political motivation.
I was being sarcastic. I don’t think he has a clue yet alone any interest in climate change. To be honest I think that is a new narrative in the plp bedtime story plot to Bahamians that we will live off taxing white ppl and foreigners alone.
Wow. The irony, we were Oh so very concerned and critical of carnivals ventures, very concerned about who should and shouldn’t get what and who gettting this and that, now we all may suffer together, no one will have nothing, and gb once again will have to grin and bear it.
Officers have discretion, the decisions they make or do not make, the questions they ask can be the difference between a lawful arrest and unlawful arrest, between a charge being thrown out or pursued. I think that all matters are not black and white. however, if his stance is it black and white we should ponder further what that means in our society, it is timely given all the conversation about quarantine inequality. For instance, if he was to let the coconut seller go and arrest persons known to infringe lockdown orders in lyford day would we be equally outraged
Maybe for Davis' audience the debate on first world /industrialized nations moral and economic obligations to the effects of climate change is a cutting edge proposition and not dated. This wouldnt be surprising since he was busy representing and approving these ppl who say they intended to drill for oil. But, hey the climate change is a hot topic so i would be interested in a full presser at plp headquarters on your plan to get guilty nation to compensate us for sideeffects of climate change...reprariations too.
Yes,im sure Minnis envisioned a Bahamas were men are arrested for selling coconut water and dspecidically directed all police me and woman to arreast coconut water sellers...because the young men and woman of the Bahamas have never once complained of the ignorant, bullish behaviour of police men
No, but as an officer serving your community wielding the authority of your uniform and position, you have the discretion to be sensible and say to the young man im not sure if this is allowed, go home, give a warning....anyway im not gonna say anything else, for these police look ya up for pointing out there failings.
How does any administration throw away the blanket when "bahamians" threaten to sue, not work, etc when a whisper of decreasing the size of the civil service is put out. I think we usually distract ourselves from our hypocrisy by complaining about 5 ppl on some committee, when you can walk into any govt office and find someone who honestly has no employable skills, drinks tea and coffee all day amd does nothing because they are a PP - "paid and pensionable".
