Yeah, that is unacceptable, befuddling, begging the question: why? I hope someone local still offers a proposal or platform. They should rethink this one.

I was born and raised in gb. I went to mary star of the sea and catholic high. I was in the hotel by the bazaar when it was destroyed by hurricane. From then gb has not recovered. From them my memory recalls hurricane after hurricane. The reality is people had blue tarp on their roof in freeport from matthew, or whatever hurricane when shane gibson and reckley were in charge. Now, in my experience, waiting on the govt to deal with the residual effects of natural disaster has has beem a long game. So my point is in my experience private donations will always be more responsivs and a neccessary supplement to govt aid. In my experiencd the DRA have been more responsive through their coordination with the big charities.

Okay, l see you all like to get excited. I dont know what rotary wanted and did want to be thank you for the info. The reality is if the hurricane destrous everything. Then the govt has to pay to rebuild it all. Find, no arguments. So, in finding the means to rebuild everything and in attempting to do that, if rotary says i want to donate water why should rhe tovt them go build, purchase, the same thing equipment if aomeone has siad i want to help in this way. How do you know rotary never told the govt they want to bring a osmosis plant?. If they didnt that fine. Just like the other chariities you think they didnt say govt i cant donate or help this way? If not thats fine. No one is say that the residents of abaco and gb should be confined to the use of that system for perpetuity. Nonetheless, if some brings or offers a temporary solutoon so that you could apply you precious funds to the long term goal, again why should the govt go build a plant if rotary has offered.

I imagine finding test for A max population 65,000 Is easier than than for us and other Caribbean countries. Cayman spent 4.4 million on their tests, I read, I don’t have insider information as you. Also, you said they offered at costs, not free. So, if we buy the adequate amount of tests, accounting for people potentially being required to test a few times. Is it fair to guess that we will be spending a pretty penny.

Further, the Who reported that they had a meeting with its members to address how they intend to handle the distribution of covid 19 vaccines when and if it is found, specifically for the probability that there will be a bidding war. Ok, The MOH is incompetent....now does that diplomats are in their news outlets raising their concerns out the equitable distribution of covid 9 tests and vaccines?

Hoda says...

Probably Because every country in the world needs test or wants tests and The Bahamas and many other countries can hardly afford to outbid the big boys for approved tests that are produced and being produced by medical and pharmaceutical companies. Oh and Trump pulled the US, the major founder, out of the WHO, or is it pano, who supplies smaller countries with vaccines etc.

If Rotary wanted to donate it or offered, why should the govt go and do it ?

I mean I don’t know what ideas anyone else had, but, seems like the rental assistance plan is a step. I watched that beyond the headlines show, first of all seems like ppl want cash and so anything less than that is not effective assistance in their opinion. Second, ppl don’t really seem to understand the nature of a mortgage agreement. A mortgage is usury, its a contract to repay the principal at interst. The govt can’t order a lender to not accept what she or he and another consenting adult willing contracted for.

The food committee Should also take this opportunity to teach nutrition. Don’t put no corn beef in this plan. We are to big and sexy.

Its probably jealousy or insecurity. These ppl do nothing all day but talk about Minnis, FNM, PLP, politics. Everyone is dumb and criminal. Everyone is incompetent. Ihave a hard time imagining busy ppl, successful ppl, ppl who have things going on, ppl who are actually doing things have time to be online all day.
