Ok, i'll be sure to read the food store's constitution...and this Christmas maybe Santa Claus will bring a big book on how to turn everything into a PLP vs. FNM debate so as to better understand you.
Yes I agree, but I thought we were talking about the speakers comments tying their re opening of Queens Highway location to the grand lucayan...or them “not having the time”
Who cares cable television is a dying medium anyway. Well, I don’t know about other people but I only watch tv to watch the NBC between 6 -7 everything else can be watched online.
I would echo proud’s suspicion as to their point, the location they are referring to is not frequented by Grand Lucayan or any hotel guests. The one that is open is. So what are they getting at?
I think Solomon’s only interested in opening fresh markets, cause the garbage fruits and vegetables they selling in non fresh market stores should indicate to us that they only interested in their Caucasian Nassau and Abaco markets
Let the prices rises. Of course then Bahamians will be saying of this govt don’t get care about poor people, you can’t even buy eggs. Raise minimum wage. Of course the merchants will be saying well we closing down.
There may be times when price control may be called for or a stratagem, the price of eggs, I don’t know. I think they need to price control some of these dilapidated buildings, these slum lords renting to people.
SMT, anyway this country isn't gonna do any better. My hope of a sensible candidate will not happen until these old Bahamians, men and women, and their misogynistic, prejudiced values die.
He is a big idiot, and to be honest she is too, all round the place carrying, very rude, then wanna cry when you get treat how you act or start what you cant finish. Both are typical Bahamian's
That's the problem everywhere in the caribbean. Energy providers are usually state - owned/funded enterprises which means they have a monopoly on the industry - like BTC before. GB is the exception. I guess it had its purpose back in the day but the reality is if you privatizing it then the general public will have to accept the harsh realities that will probably come with it: that the owners will probably expect to make a profit, you dont pay you get cut off, no austerity just business. But privatization might bring faster innovation - then again if someone spends the money completely renovating our energy infrastructure they probably gonna wanna recoup their investment in ways the general public might not like. But the overall benefits will probably be for the best - if they can find someone who wants to buy drowning in debt/old engine BPL/BEC i'd be surprised.
I see, so u think it’s bastardisation for the govt to subsidize a Ministry of Finance/ UB/ Chamber of Commerce programme which seeks to give Bahamian business owners under age 30 skills and access to capital.
