If you read the paper last week right here in Nassau a man decides to go and say his ex gf is a prostitute and post her name and number online. Why, cause she didnt want to be with him, he got the criminal charges he deserved - a necessary deterrent in this day and age. Facebook just got hit with a 2mil fine for not dealing with its hate speech posts properly. Some people say its good some say its not. Long story short people to like to get online and talk sht, no facts, no figures, no concern - until its them of course.
I believe his point was that Bahamians compare the nation as better off than say a Haiti, when we should be trying to keep up with the rest of the world, given that we say we are a financial services centre. However, I may be wrong.

The other says the DPM states: "we need to evaluate our overall tax system with respect to modern requirements and needs of our country. However we are also very mindful of the fact that we have to be reasonable with respect to the ability of the Bahamian people to bear these taxes. ..we are satisfied that our current tax system is adequate and meets the needs of the country."
Port of Nassau is the only port of access in the country?
GB know what modern and efficient port operations look like and can be. You should research the work done in GB at the container port and it's place in global trade and transshipment.
