When I reply to a direct comment i hit reply, just fyi, for the future. See how when u hit reply it indents under the comment you are replying to. I offered a general statement not directed at you. But I certainly wasnt about to type it a more than once. So I left it as a general statement.
My comment wouldn't make since in regard to what u said.
But, I'll reply directly since u seem to have an issue:
"OK, I didn't reply to you, or anyone who commented on her age or the timing. Perhaps the comments above you that use words like crony, independent, etc."
Perhaps, or perhaps persons can just be professional and separate politics from their work, even if you cannot. Its funny, you can go and google an article from 2013, bahamaspress, the plp trolls spitting their usually drivel, talking about how the chief magistrate was a political appointment and all kinda carrying - on - slandering people name and work, now in 2019 when she acquits Frank Smith, she is just doing her job and being impartial.
I thought they said the reduction in duty on vehicles were to encourage people to buy fuel efficient vehicles - and cutting down on the affordable Japanese cars that do give you good use until they breakdown and are left on the side of the roads, when people discover the car may be cheaper but the parts to maintain them might not be so.
Kind of seems like he's talking in circles. I find it strange that he has not mentioned once that the employment act allows employees to sue for unfair dismissal, if that is his concern. Seems like he trying to get people riled up a little and not really giving a full picture.
Our whole mentality is messed up. Bahamians believe that it is ideal to be working the same job for 25 years. How does that facilitate progress, growth, a growing economy ? On any level, whether its a workers personal accession in an industry or an employers hopes of expanded?
Very true, the prices are ridiculous and clearly they only want to serve white people or those they think have money. Taxi driver said it would be 35 to go to the airport. I was on cable beach in front of Starbucks. I can only imagine what they charging tourist walking out the aiport door.
Taxi drivers and the public should recognize too, Uber and Lyft have redefined North Americansl expectation of transportation. They expect that your car will not be break up, people have safety concerns, if you going to a foreign country its not abnormal to want to have your travel pre- arranged - so in the post Uber world if I'm a American use to Uber showing me who coming to get me, their license plate number, I can comments on the service they gave, I know the price before I hop in, and did not require me to have cash on me.... Is it so crazy that they opt to take the service/ livery/ tour bus that allows them similar comfort/assurance. No
Well then those doctors should be reported and their prescriptions pad rendered null and void, just as is done now and every where in the world when doctors are found not honoring their oaths to do no harm. It is no secret and the subject of much debate in the USA where doctors who are being paid/incentived by pharmaceutical companies to push opiods, acne meds aimed at teens, anxiety med, etc at their patients.
True. There are man made and chemically altered breeds arising: flocka, etc. They are dangerous exceptions and more akin to the methamphetamine and chemicals purposely added.
Regular marijuana grown from a seed until it blooms is certainly not the things you are referring to.
