Ok, I respect your opinion. Surely you should also suggest that Haitians, who have settled around the world and have made a good life for themselves that they too should reach out to their compatriots. in my opinion, Haitians themselves have turn their backs on Haiti! I am a Bahamian and I live abroad and I have several Haitian friends who do not wish to have anything to do with Haiti. In the midst of the most recent Earthquake, my friends did not even see the need to send any assistance to Haiti. This was appalling to me!

'The Annual Trumpet Awards was conceived and founded by Xernona Clayton, and was created to **recognize African American** achievers and those **who support the African American experience**.
Did I miss something....did PM Christie support the African American experience in some profound way?
