The lack of enforcement of Road Traffic Laws in The Bahamas is an absolute joke and an affront to this Nation. How the heck do half of the drivers on this island pass a driving test? Many road users don't even have a driving licence. You might as well remove indicators from vehicles because no one knows how to use them. Why does the police allow many owners to black out their windows? Drinking and driving, motorists driving one handed with smart phone pressed against their ear. Traffic lights out, pot holes resembling craters. Morons overtaking when it is unsafe to do so all to gain fifty yards. You take your life in your hands every time you go onto a road in New Providence. We are truly a third world country.

Poor performance from the Attorney General. It's her job to know that. The job is clearly too big for her.

Perry ain't interested in doing what's best for the citizens, he just wants re-elected to the gravy train. Our last hope is that the doctors refuse to sign up for this farcical exercise. Let the FNM regain control of government and then let's introduce NHI in a viable and sustainable way. First of all, that means preparing the infrastructure before any significant roll out. It also means allowing citizens to chose between retaining existing private health care covers or electing for NHI.

Correct decision but it is depressing that the RBDF's recruitment standards are so low. This contributes towards corruption and the failure of the judicial system.

"TWO men are dead and nine other people are fighting for their lives in hospital after a spree of shooting incidents in the capital over the New Year’s holiday weekend".

And so but for the skill of the surgeons potentially ELEVEN people in New Providence could have ended up losing their lives during the "holidays". Great start to the New Year. Welcome to the jungle!

Well done Valley Boys and well done to the organisers.

Either Obie is a delusional idiot or he has "gone to bed"with the evil empire. Union members are not fooled however and they will be up in arms when their valuable private medical cover is stripped from them and replaced with a dumbed down but ultimately more costly product. Meanwhile the architects of this grand scheme will be well protected with their own private covers and offshore accounts. Bahamas, you have been warned.

Same old sh*t. Seems like the murdering underclass don't operate to a calendar. So given government's clueless approach to fighting serious crime we can expect another murder record in 2016. But don't call it a record 'cause Nottage don't like that word.
