Mr. Christie will be pleased to be remembered for the quality of his tomatoes. Something is better than nothing I suppose!

So let's get this right. 7.5% VAT is supposed to earn the public purse some $200 million in additional revenue (according to government) but an NHI scheme which at the top end could cost $633 million per annum will cost Bahamians "two or three dollars" according to the Prime Minister. Either arithmetic is not PGC's strong point or he is banking on his supporters being numerically illiterate.

Birdie, your type represents everything that is wrong with this country. Your slave like mentality pervades every comment you make. Open your mind for God's sake and see the problems facing the Bahamas which are HUGE and way beyond petty party politics. The PLP's hijacking of the Marathon town hall meeting was disgraceful but typical of the way politics is conducted in this country which is becoming more third world by the day.

The AG has lost all credibility in the eyes of educated Bahamians.

Great post but the yellow shirts will continue to sell their soul for a new microwave come the next election. They are beyond help because their party has deliberately kept their education as a low priority. Education frees the mind and allows the people to understand that they deserve better than they are getting from their representatives.

The project will survive but BahaMar may be forced to sell out, I agree. BahaMar's cash flow must be under severe strain because of the delay. It has been a bit of a management disaster when all is said and done.

With the level of dishonesty ingrained in the psyche of our political leadership and the tribal mindset of the people, there is no hope for The Bahamas. Sorry to be so pessimistic.

Ok Birdie. What have Mr. Christie and the PLP done well since coming to power three years ago? This shouldn't take you too long! By the way your last sentence makes no sense whatsoever.
