Of course he knows it - these people just think the general public is brain dead.

Don't make me laugh - since when did the PLP ever show respect for anthing other than the self interest of its members? The Party is just scared that more dirty laundry will be aired in public.

The people are desperate for a political savior. Frankly, if Mickey Mouse formed a new party to contest the next election, he would have a decent chance of winning!

The Prime Minister by his abject failure to lead his party and his country has lost the respect of not only the electorate but also his own politicians. Could you imagine an FNM backbencher standing up and deriding Hubert Ingraham during his time as leader? The PLP is squirming in a mire that it has created. Don't know why Rollins doesn't just resign from the Party. What does he have to gain by remaining?

What a farce! Oh for a governing party that could come to office on a ticket that says: We will govern this country by listening to the people, being transparent in all our dealings, having a zero tolerance approach to corruption and we will populate our cabinet with bright, young, ethical leaders who will work tirelessly to solve the serious problems facing our Nation and serve this country in a selfless manner. Bahamas, consider the pitiful performance of those representing us in Parliament today. Surely we can do better. Surely we deserve better.

Truer words have never been spoken. You have summed up today's Bahamas perfectly. Sadly the BUMS will hold onto power until the last minute of the last hour of the last day. For as long as there are private deals to be cut and friends to be patronized, these jokers will cling to power like it was the last dinghy on the Titanic. How much more damage can they cause over the next couple of years? It is a scary prospect.

Mitchell enjoys playing the statesman but the country needs more than a role player.

Loretta is not going to cut it as the next prospective Prime Minister. She is making a mistake trying to undermine Minnis at every cut and turn. This is not going to endear her to the electorate.

Honestman says...

Loretta needs to resign her position and then seek her Party approval at the next convention. She is doing herself no favours constantly challenging Minnis.
