Young Bahamians are taking their lives in their hands every time they visit a night club. There are too many guns in circulation and too may uneducated feral youths looking for a fight to prove their manhood. Watch who you mix with young people and don't be the next victim of a stray bullet.
Candia is by far the top political journalist in the country at the moment and she is not afraid to ask the questions that all sensible Bahamians are asking. I admire her fearlessness.
How does it feel being ignored Fred? This us what the Bahamian people are having to deal with on a daily basis from the government that YOU are part of.
tourism Minister Obie Wilchcombe yesterday said local banks are responding well to efforts to implement the new gaming regime following a “positive” outcome to interactions between the government and Financial Action Task Force representatives.
Shouldn't we be hearing from the Attorney General on this matter rather than Obie Wilchcombe who is Minister for Tourism? Why does he feel it necessary to comment when the matter has nothing to do with his portfolio?
“I have to make the determination. I will make the determination and I will communicate that determination. I just want to be able to say at this point I have to make the determination as to whether that event in the scheme of my government goes to the root of Mr Wells’ existence as a part of government.”
What the heck???? Will someone please relieve the PM of his duties - he is clearly under severe stress and no longer able to communicate straight forward ideas.
I think we all know there will be no litigation!!!! How long does it take for the Prime Minister to get to the bottom of what happened? A couple of five minute phone calls?
So PGC can make an official statement about Gay Marriage (which in the scheme of things right now is an irrelevance) and yet he cannot find the opportunity to address the public on a matter that is of much more interest: who authorized the LOI and who is in charge of this PLP administration?
