Reflection over too many glasses of whisky is unreliable! Fred Mitchell personifies the immaturity of The Bahamas as a sovereign Nation.

Thanks to the greed and lack of ethics of the plp. anyone who joins that party is suspect in my eyes.

Birdiebrain says: "Bottom line Doc can not sell what does not belong to him"

And the PLP had no right to allow the Chinese to acquire by stealth a $3.6b resort that did not belong to them.

Or it just might be that he doesn't want to see the country (and his assets) flushed down the pan and feels he can do something about it!

I agree Minnis has full control of his party at the moment. Whether that will be the case a few years down the line we will have to wait and see. Such is the current level of anger towards Christie and his hapless and corrupted administration, I cannot see anything but an election win for the FNM. Loretta, the dissident seven, Branville McCartney are all irrelevant. Minnis will win because the people want Christie and the PLP out - it's that simple.

The PLP "mark up" . That's the way this corrupt party rolls.

I expect D'Aguilar will win Freetown by a decent margin. The voting public are sick and tired of this corrupt and reckless administration.

Bran has had 5 years to develop the DNA but the party has gone nowhere. Why didn't candidates such as D'Aguliar and Lloyd sign up for the DNA? The fact is they knew the DNA does not have the mass support needed to win an election. A vote for the DNA is most certainly a vote for the PLP. I predict Bahamians will be more wary of the consequences of voting DNA this time round and that their share of the vote will fall.

Baha Mar has NOT been sold and if, as is likely, it remains unsold by the time the FNM reclaims control of government then Minnis is entitled (if not required) to do what is best for the Bahamian people. I welcome this announcement. I would welcome even more a pledge by Minnis to hold a Commission of Enquiry over the whole Baha Mar debacle and the rest of the corrupt dealings perpetrated by this PLP administration since May 2012.
