That's not what we were told at the outset! Let's face it, this was just one big costly party. Watch for next year's event being even bigger and more costly as the PLP tries to distract the deluded from the reality of our dire economic situation and the party's abject failure at governing the country.
Prime Minister, because of you and your hapless government, the opening of this resort will be at least three years behind schedule. Additionally, The Bahamas will now be regarded as a place where major overseas investors cannot rely on the support of government. Sarkis Izmirlian was robbed of his dream due to the underhanded actions of the PLP and the Chinese. Our reputation as an investor friendly nation may never recover. Don't expect any praise from the Bahamian people if you finally get this project over the line. Do expect to be booted out of office come May of next year however.
Good luck Green Shirts because Bahamians are sick and tired of the Red and Yellow tribal politics that has caused our country to be on "life support". The Nation is sick and tired of corrupt politicians and the political elite.
The current FNM is really unrecognizable from the party of the past. It appears that they only stand for more of the same. The Bahamas is stuck in the grip of tribal politics where holding power is everything. The country hasn't matured during 43 years of independence. What a wasted opportunity!
If this is true then homeowners at Delaporte need to raise a lawsuit against the H.O.A. Board. This conduct is unacceptable. It is exactly what the PLP are doing at a National level.
So true. China does not play by the rules of the democratic world. They have declared economic warfare against us all. Their success depends on weak and corrupt governments taking their bait. Christie and the PLP were easy prey - it wasn't even sport.

I hope this is true.
