I'm glad the main part of the angst of this shooting is aimed at the parents and I'm glad that all scenarios for why the child was not at home have been considered. They need to employ the efforts of the nearest Bahamian consulate in the area responsible. That is part of their job and would help the family who cannot be physically there or any administrative capability of putting pressure on the proper authorities.
Does anyone think that shooting in a crowded place/area is dangerous? I could understand if the cop was being shot at, but for the police officer to shoot in the midst of downtown...seems a bit much. Maybe I'm overreacting, but geeze.

PS the illustrious Hubert A Ingraham met with Giuliani before the election and the PLP criticized him for it! When one needs help, one humbles oneself and cries out for help, isn't that the teachings of the church?
Agreeing with the timing of the VAT, perhaps only implementing it on things like cigarettes, cigars, and alcohol can surely be added in a more near future. However, I agree that food items should perhaps wait until things are better on the job front.
Way to go Mr. Smith. I applaud these efforts. Good luck with this lobbying effort in the midst of impending desires to push forward with oil drilling, which I don't believe should ever occur in the Bahamas.

Yes, many psychologists and sociologists site and are correct in that family life affects adult behavior, but no where in that conclusion does that include sexual behavioral inclinations.
As far as your putting hiv/aids statistics, heterosexuals are far and away outrunning homosexuals on that front. Heterosexuals can learn alot from the homosexuals on how to control the transmission of that disease.
