What a wonderful program! I hope they have plans to repeat this, and/or a Bahamian only group the Minister of Youth, Sports, and Culture could reproduce here with Bahamians.
Agreed legalmindatwork. The exact issue that Mr. Galanis is using to his advantage, the use of words in the referendum questions, is precisely what the Bahamian people and FNM had an issue with. Legalize, regulate, taxation and the like. Many asked for this referendum to be postponed and further explanations, public service announcements, and town halls to be had.
And to answer Darold Miller's question to his show's guests about "Well didn't they have town hall meetings and does it matter who sponsored them?" YES, Darrold, it matters! Clearly if the yes vote held the meeting, it's going to have a yes slant and vice versa if the no folks had sponsored it.
The government, who claimed they didn't have a horse in the race should have used a finite amount of dollars to sponsor explanations, and Q/A sessions on the subject and perhaps make those consultants and their report available whome we paid so much of our taxpayer monies to.
The Christie administration policitized this referendum from the beginning, I pray the opposition protests for a rapid amendment to the current law and to shut down these webshops for good.
And before someone gets on me for making people jobless, let me answer them too. announcement: Please make a means to find legitimate employment in the mean time and thank the good Jesus daily for the injunction to allow you time to find a decent job.
Agreed 242, I do believe that Mr. Christie is shuffling above water, at the moment. He knew there was a loophole with the technology clause and only ordered these webshops closed to appease the people with a supposedly legit response to the referendum.
There are so many laws globally that have not caught up to the fast pace of technology.
Now, here is where the opposition comes in, by demanding an amendment of the present law in a rapid fashion so as to include the webshop component. Particularly in light of the recent referendum and to take advantage of the current hostile atmosphere peppered even more by this recent injunction.
I give it to the number bosses and Christie for being astute. Now, it is the opposition's turn to match them and to truly win the war.
Desire to have sex with an underage person whether they are male or female is pedophilia, something that legitimate sex games/films could never satisfy. It is a mental illness that needs to addressed in a mental health fashion and they should not have any unsupervised interaction with minors.
No person with appropriate sexual urges would ever dream of ever having sexual relations with a minor, it is unnatural.
LOL I could see if I used an expletive, I guess constructive criticism for poor work is not appreciated. I suppose only favorable comments are allowed to stay. Feel free to remove this one also.
Agreed Mr. Ingraham. I feel as though its ridiculous for the Christie adminstration to sign a roadworks project in Abaco on the order of an admitted 7-9 million and all other and sundry projects that ill increase borrowing. Please ministry of finance stop putting us into more debt in projects that are not in dire need, and brainstorm ways to make money.
I have many ideas and that is just on the order of a whim, not something I do on a daily basis as you all are paid to do.
What is laughable about this whole thing is the biggety nature of which Shame answers the questions into his preference for employees be their his blood or cronies. You are an MP, please act like a professional, your biggety response is only appropriate for the street corner and they will not scare off questions.

This is absolutely distasteful! So, there must a part of the law that makes this legal? Are we being hoodwinked, bamboozled, and had?
