Marijuana reform needs to come very very soon if you hope to generate any form of tourism around it. Pretty soon it will be legal everywhere and tourism will not apply. In that case perhaps a few barons will make money exporting "Bahamian Bud". And if ThisisOurs thinks smoking weed makes you dumb, you better do a little more research; you'd be surprised to know who smokes the stuff and what type of career they have. Overall the Bahamian government is living with very outdated ideas, marijuana policy is just one of them.
What a dork, says it like it's a high percentage. Shouldn't it be at least 50% for fair representation? I would be willing to bet he has no intention of following through with this anyway
I had a business in Abaco in the 90's. High turnover of revenue, low profit margin, was taxed on the gross. "grossly unfair" - The FNM government could have done something about it then; 20 years later and still nothing. Papa wasn't great, I wish y'all would stop saying he was. Minnis still has 3 years to prove himself, so far I am not very impressed but that might change. One can only hope.
this is a snap shot of The Bahamas and the government's view of animals......there have been complaints "for months" and the operation is still on going? I guess Minnis will "appoint a committee" Probably the owner has paid or will pay the right person. Yawn.
I can't say that Disney had a great environmental reputation when they finished with Bakers Bay on North end of Great Guana Cay, Abaco. They dredged and tore the whole area up then abandoned it later and left junk and trash everywhere. 150 menial jobs in S Eluthera at best. Ask the folks in Sandy Point Abaco today what they get from Gorda / Castaway Cay.

That's correct and you're ALL guilty and it's time for ALL of you to fix it and stop ripping the people off. It doesn't get any simpler than that
