They won’t be homeless, they’ll just relocate to another shanty town, probably Abaco. The government is simply playing “whack a mole” with this issue

Excellent article. Thanks. And @Thisisours. A properly maintained compost pile should never smell or be disgusting in any way.

I always felt that The Bahamas could revert to living off the sea and the land, but having recently read of the snow crab collapse in the Bearing Straight, I'm not so sure anymore. Long story short, the crabs starved as a result of a sea temperature change. So, ultimately the same can happen here in way, shape or form. I applaud the Prime Ministers for speaking on the global stage, but the time for an at home plan is now. I pray for my children and grandchildren.

We’re well beyond deep trouble in regards to “Creole speaking Bahamians”. Pindling failed to grab the bull by the horns in the 70’s. Instead he played politics.

It’s my understanding that Haitians in Abaco can buy generic work permits. Makes them “quasi legal”

Digital currency sounds like crypto to me. No one has properly explained why I should have it and how I get it and because the government is on board I’m extremely and I mean extremely suspicious. The government has a very very long way to go to earn my trust

The government sees themselves as royalty who doesn’t have to answer to anyone and aren’t responsible for anything. They are untouchable in their eyes. It’s beyond ridiculous. I’ve got two fingers for the government. One on each hand.

Alicia, I don’t agree with everything you write but this is spot on.
