It’s time for the COVID restrictions and mandates to END once and for all!!! The vaccine has been prevalent for nearly two years. If you haven’t been vaccinated by now, we’ll that’s your problem. I’ve heard from countless friends who visit the Bahamas regularly that the nonsense the government puts you through is not worth the trip. Test before you enter the Bahamas, test again two days later, test again before you return to the U.S. it’s all BS! So is wearing the mask stupidity that is nothing more than theatre. If you believe the mask keeps you and others from getting covid, I have some swamp land in Andros that I’ll happily sell you. A bunch of people on vacation and even residents walking around Nassau and the Family Islands looking stupid!!! End all the nonsense and get on with life!!!

If you think Tourism and COVID don't go together - you are sadly mistaken! Take it from someone that doesn't reside in the Bahamas but visits each year. I haven't been back to the Bahamas because of all the BS you have to go through with test before you enter the country, test after you get there, test before you return to the US and while you're in the Bahamas, respond to a health check each day. Ridiculous nonsense, just like the masks! It's all theatre! Take a look at the recent study from Johns Hopkins...............lockdowns have done nothing! Lockdowns have saved NO lives! It's time to get on with life, lift the restrictions and all the BS that goes with it, and move on! Other Countries have lifted the restrictions. Despite the nonsense requirements of the U.S. government, the U.S. economy is big enough to absorb some of the stupid decisions made in this country, but last I checked, the Bahamas can't afford to be stupid in their decisions that impact tourism. Keep it up...........see what happens.

This is exactly the result of more emergency orders instead of reopening the country to tourism. Make people sign up for a health visa, go get your test, upload the COVID test, pay for your health visa, wait on edge and hope you get your health visa in time, fly to the Bahamas, and on day 5 go get in line for yet another COVID test to get back into the U.S. And you wonder why tourist aren’t coming to the Bahamas?? I’ll tell you why.....it’s NOT worth it, it’s a total pain in the ass, and people don’t need to come to the Bahamas that badly!!! So keep requiring all this boo-sh-t, and see how fast tourism numbers rise. Trust me - there are more layoffs to come. You all ain’t seen nothin’ yet!!! Government at its finest!!!

For God's sake - instead of getting overwhelmed - simply require travelers to the Bahamas to produce a neg R-PCR test or vaccine record on arrival or they're not admitted. WHY is that so difficult for the Gov't to understand????????????
