Yes, business people do make mistakes every day, and some mistakes that business people make are so stupid, so severe, so impactful, that there’s no way to recover from them! Bahamasair had nearly 10 years to figure this out and failed. Can you imagine - 10 years to equip 3 aircraft? There must be accountability and like the CEO of Boeing, that accountability resides at the top.

Carey said it right - half a century later and the Gov’t doesn’t know how to run an airline. I wouldn’t close it down, but I would find someone to run it like an airline and a business should be run! I know - novel concept for us Bahamians. What a joke!

Highly unusual and quite suspect for an aircraft’s main and nose gear to all collapse. Was the ggear lowered prior to landing? Checklist completed?

Good ahead, send your adjusters, when they trip, fall and get injured then need to be airlifted to Nassau, wasting mor3 resource and people’s time, you’ll be adjusting alright!!!

Some stupid insurance people we have this in the country. What is there to send an adjuster to assess. wake up!!! The place is a war zone, flattened, gone, finito, what don’t you greedy insurance companies understand about that????

BPLs power outages are a national disgrace and the silence and lack of action by this government is even more disgraceful! Where is the accountability???? I know - “accountability” is a very foreign concept in the Bahamas - always has been - always will
be! And if you wonder why - look no further than your duly elected government. And frankly, I don’t give a damn whether you’re a PLP or a FNM. I always find that leaders - political leaders or business leaders always succeed when they fight and act for what’s right and for
the good of their people. No one gives a damn whether you’re black, white, PLP, FNM or of some other persuasion. But this Country will never figure that out. That’s why thousands of Bahamians have left the Bahamas over the years to seek a future elsewhere. And you know what - it’s paid off!

The SOB that is responsible for illegal dumping ought to have his ass locked up, but why is it even possible in today’s day and age that someone dumping trash illegally can cause an island wide power outage and risk getting fried. That to me is inconceivable but then again we’re in the Bahamas where anything is possible and you don’t have to dream big to make it happen!

BTD said it right. Police seem to finally be taking a stand and not putting up with criminals and their BS! If in fact the police were fired on, or so much as had a gun pointed at them, I’d do it all over again! Clean up the country!!!

inexcusable - by both the pilot of the twin Aztec and the ATC controller!!! No valid medical certs and no licenses for controllers. Imagine the lawsuits had those aircraft collided.
