Someone telling lies. BiG LIES!! They telling consumers to come in and mak a payment plan. They also required the consumer to make a payment to activate the plan. And when it’s all done the parting shot is, ‘ if you miss your regular payment or any of the payments in the plan, you will be disconnected!’

Lavish Boyd is a day late and a dollar short about the low turnout at the elections and the lopsided government, due to a landslide PLP victory. It was a conniving and evil plan that was concocted by Hubert Minnis to give him the advantage Brave Davis and the PLP now have. The plan backfired miserably and left Minnis almost unseated and with most of his candidates being whipped soundly. In fact some haven’t been heard from ever since the election. And as it wasn’t bad enough, Minnis has been kicked to the curb as leader of his own party and his movie of acting sorrowful for the burden he placed on the backs of the Bahamian people and begging for forgiveness was labeled a comedy. As for vaccinations, the choice as whether to vaccinate or not should be an individual one. Unfortunately in the US, Canada and other parts of the world, individuals are seeing their rights being frittered away if they refuse to vaccinate. Even their right to work or receive education or basic healthcare. A lot of the vaccine hype is about making profits off the vaccines. As Anthony Fauci said in an interview over a local radio station. The Covid-19 virus will eventually disappear, vaccines or no vaccines. The Spanish flu disappeared in 1918. They didn’t have vaccines back then, but they lost millions of lives. The vaccines may cut down on the number of lives lost.

‘ n Israel’s COVID-19 wards, doctors are learning which vaccinated patients are most vulnerable to severe illness, amid growing concerns about instances in which the shots provide less protection against the worst forms of the disease.

Around half of the country’s 600 patients presently hospitalized with severe illness have received two doses of the Pfizer Inc shot, a rare occurrence out of 5.4 million fully vaccinated people.

The majority of these patients received two vaccine doses at least five months ago, are over the age of 60 and also have chronic illnesses known to exacerbate a coronavirus infection. They range from diabetes to heart disease and lung ailments, as well as cancers and inflammatory diseases that are treated with immune-system suppressing drugs, according to Reuters interviews with 11 doctors, health specialists and officials.

Such “breakthrough” cases have become central to a global debate over whether highly vaccinated countries should give booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines, and to which people.’
so they are finding that the vaccines are not offering protection to certain groups of people and booster shots among this group are increasing the event of breakthrough cases. People still end up severely sick and in hospitals and still have a great chance of dying from Covid.

My opinion is Davis should have kept the 12 o’clock curfew in place until after the Christmas holidays. Some countries in Europe are finding themselves having to go back into lockdowns and increasing curfews and enforcing other protocols because of the intensity of the fourth wave.

one of the most significant things anthony fauci said during his short appearance on a local radio stations is that with it without vaccines, Covid-19 will eventually disappear, just like the Spanish flu did in 1918. He went on to say the Spanish flu disappeared as a pandemic and became a seasonal flu after killing millions of people. And since they didn’t have vaccines back then, the most effective tools of defense was wearing of masks, social distancing, avoiding of large crowds and regular hand washing and sanitizing. But since the vaccines came about, many countries seem to abandon some, if not all of the original protocols and worship the vaccines as lord and savior. This spelled trouble for many countries, including The Bahamas, at one point or the other as the vaccines alone did not do what they were expected to do. An even now as a fourth wave rages over russia, europe and parts of the united states, it appears to have started amongst highly vaccinated populations and penetrated persons who had taken third ‘booster’ shots. And this should be no surprise as experts, some who were linked to top vaccines manufacturers warned early this year that the vaccines were being misused and could lead to a stronger virus and even a super bug that was resistant to vaccines. The experts stated that it was wrong to try vaccinate everyone. And it was even more wrong to vaccinate persons who had recovered from the virus as they now had natural immunity. And the natural immunity was not only stronger than that offered by the vaccines, but it was also able to adapt to new strains and mutations of the virus. But this advice was ignored, even here as the first things patients who recover from the virus are advised to do is to go get vaccinated. So all the pain and suffering and even near death experiences from battling the virus and beating the odds was for naught. And the vaccinations ‘overdrive’ continues in the US, especially where children as young as five are being urged to get vaccinated, though the mortality rate in this group is very, very low. And Bahamians love to party and to mix and mingle. The effects of this behavior was obvious during the elections and campaigning when new cases of Covid and corresponding deaths surged. Now there is no curfew and hardly anyone in authority to tell you to wear a mask, wash and sanitize your hands. And many Bahamians believe that if they are vaccinated, they are super human, invincible even. Hopefully common sense and decency will prevail even if the fourth wave does not pass over this country.

the fourth wave is raging in Russia, Europe and parts of the USA. Despite this, the US opened its borders to many of the countries that are affected. And some countries are seeing high numbers of cases amongst the vaccinated and those who have taken a third booster shot. And even though hospitalizations and deaths may not be significant amongst these groups, the potential to spread the virus is great because of the absence of symptoms. Of course some of these people can enter The Bahamas through the US. And there are reports that the numbers of new cases on fully vaccinated cruise ships is increasing. So what plans does this country have to deal with the fourth wave? Wait until the numbers increase significantly and the health care system becomes overwhelmed again? Most experts don’t expect the fourth wave to be as intense, deadly or long lasting as the Delta wave, but it’s impact will be determined by the level of preparedness it meets a population in. And if you are caught with your guard down…ok then

Word on the street is that people are presenting with Covid symptoms like chest pains, dry cough and lost of taste. But the rapid Covid tests are coming back negative even as the symptoms get worse. Some end up in the hospital and and only after taking the other test do they test positive for Covid.
