Well remember now the country, neither the world is in recession. The economy was falsely shut down. Consumers have tons of cash and are anxious to spend. It is only a matter of getting the Covid I under control and getting the economy back up and running. And if Joe Biden gets his $5 Trillion spending package approved, that will blow the lid of the US economy and millions will flow here to this country. Of course it can lead to inflation in both countries as consumers having large gunks of cash will spend freely. And governments will realize more revenue and get their finances in order.,, if they can keep sticky fingers outta da cookie jar!
> consultant Physicians Staff Association President Dr Sabriquet Pinder Butler said it is “mind-boggling” that some people who have contracted COVID-19 are still reporting to work and not properly isolating themselves. . . When this pandemic first began the world expressed shock and horror when videos of Chinese police surfaced whipping and threatening to shoot some Chinese citizens who had violated their quarantine. Today many understand why as China, being the first country experiencing the Covid virus, still remains the country most able to manage and control the disease. . . Once a person tests positive for the virus, they are required to stay home and isolate unless they become ill and have to be hospitalized. All the members of that household are also required to remain at home and food, medicine and other essentials are brought to that home and all outgoing matter is collected by teams properly protected. Everything s sprayed down and sanitized before leaving the property. And if there are indications that the virus has spread beyond that household, then the entire neighborhood is put on lockdown. And the lockdown is either increased to include more homes or decreased as data indicate. No unauthorized persons are allowed to enter or leave the area. Here in this country, persons are after testing positive, persons are told to go home and isolate. Take tyronal if they start to feel ill. And so they are not just isolated, but abandoned. And many have no other choice but to go to work, go shopping or doing other chores. And so the pandemic escalated. But at least now the numbers are declining. Some sort of immunity had set in and no, no it is not the vaccines. At least not the vaccines alone because the decline in nee cases and deaths is also occurring amongst least vaccinated countries
Same shyt faces, different day. But on the real either the talent pool in this country ir very limited ( remember most people that go abroad to college don’t return) or political parties want to keep their circles really small. Or there’s people in the country who can’t function without government assistance.or it ain’t a new day yet
Just to give an idea of how poorly the Covid pandemic was managed in this country over the past few months notice this: Covid deaths, worldwide are at their lowest level since November 2020 but the numbers here are still at record levels. And most people are dying dying in the public hospitals after being admitted for non/Covid related illnesses. Others are dying at home after being exposed to the virus by a friend or family member who may or may not have been vaccinated
When the police is looking for a suspect, they would normally put out wanted posters and ask the public to not only be on the lookout for the suspects . But to call the police if the suspects are spotted. Now this same incredibly, unbelievable and credibility damaged Commissioner says they are chasing suspects in the Great Jerome Avenue Massacre. One , he claims is now dead, and others have fled the jurisdiction. But no names, no one identified, not even the dead suspect. Do you honestly believe this incredible Commissioner? . . And his comments that the curfews and lockdowns had no effect on crime. This man must be drinking flit for kool aid and then some. All one has to ask is ‘when do most crimes occur.’ And coincidentally or not, most crimes happens during the same hours of curfew and lockdown. The Commissioner only needs to go through his logs for last year: when curfew was from 6:00 pm to 5:00 am, how many crimes happened betwix those hours? And when the curfew was moved to 8:00pm to 5:00 am and likewise when it was moved to 10:00pm. And now that the curfew starts at midnight, how many crimes happened between midnight and 5:00 am? Turn check to see if there was any significant increases in crime during the non curfew/lockdown hours? Now maybe the Commissioner can explain how he came to the conclusion that curfews had no effect on crime
If there had not been so many lies, misinformation and missteps about the vaccines, many of the elderly people who died may still be alive. Many of these people never left their homes since the pandemic began. And so the disease was taken to them. Inside their homes and into their bedrooms. And most likely by someone near and dear to them. By someone who had been vaccinated and was asymptotic. Not even aware they were carrying the disease but showing no symptoms. It also happened among families where one person brought the virus into the house and infected everyone else. Killing some family members even. Simply because vaccinated people were not advised to continue to isolate from family members when returning home. To social distance from the more vulnerable family members and to wear masks and sanitize before ad after approaching them. But see this would tarnish the vaccines as being the great, great super silver bullet. So instead people died and people continue to die. The pandemic and the vaccines are continuing to be mishandled.
But some experts say hesitancy is a good thing considering the vaccines are being mismanaged. Top virologist and some researchers for the vaccines manufacturers say it was very wrong to attempt to vaccinate everyone because it puts pressure on the virus and causes it to mutate more rapidly and create more vaccine-resistant strains. If the vaccinations process had gone as rapidly as some had intended, the rapidly declining numbers presently being experienced worldwide would never had happened. Also the attempt to vaccinate persons who had the disease and recovered is a gross error. These persons after recovering have natural immunity that is ELEVEN times better than what any of the vaccines can supply. And it remains effective against new strains and variants, So the question is how much of the vaccination efforts is nothing more than a money making scam?
Why does Dr Duane Sands seem almost paranoid about the Covid cases? The numbers are at their lowest since before the Delta virus appeared. And many of the new cases. Many that result in deaths are happening at the two public hospitals. And with the numbers of nee cases declining, this should not be a difficult fix. The question is though, ‘ Is the end of the Delta wave the end of Covid forever? Forever, ever?
But I made several posts about this. RBC brought their interest rates on fixed deposits to zero since 2008. Or was that just for selected accounts. And on top of that they silently increased their interest rates on an overdraft facility (cash secured) from 6.5 percent to nine percent. So they are not giving their clients the 3-4 percent interest on their term deposits and charging a whopping 9 percent on a cash secured term deposit. So the client is, in effect paying RBC 12 percent interest which is 7 or O points above the prime rate. And they give a million reasons for doing this. So the best thing to do maybe is to pull your deposits out of RBC. They already closing branches left, right and center because the average Bahamians can no longer afford their services.
