First of all does anyone know that new Covid cases has been declining in this s country so nice the first of September? And after the few bumps in the road, probably due to campaigning and elections. Do you know that cases, worldwide have been declining for nine days in a row and the longest period of decline since June? Do you know that this is despite the US having sports events with filled stadiums and other overcrowded social events? Do you know that experts have declared that the Delta strain has peaked and is now in decline? And do you know that the decrease among new cases is spread among vaccinated people and unvaccinated people? And the same for populations. The big question is WHAT? What happens after Delta. Is there another wave coming or is this the end to Covid-19? . . So it does mean that the numbers at PMH and other healthcare facilities should start to decline. Some semblance of normalcy should return and caregivers can expect some relief, if only temporarily. Maybe there will be enough breat room to start isolating Covid patients from to PMH to just one facility. South Beach maybe. . . BUT Don’t get caught off guard, like the Minnis Administration got caught with the third wave. Be prepared to go back into overdrive at the drop of a hat. And monitor what is going on in various communities. Put more controls on persons that should be in isolation. Is it a good idea to vaccinate school age children? Did we experience the same level of infection among children. One school district in the US has some 40,000 school children in isolation. Unless situation changes, health care must be offered within the parameters that are available. And the best weapon trot the battle is to avoid people getting sick.
If you can buy the idea that the entire covid pandemic was manufactured and orchestrated, then you must also accept the fact that there were reasons for it. Well not getting into the medical snd population control aspects of it, and whether the intention or not, the global pandemic sped up the financial snowball of many countries and also headed for a deep and deep, brutal financial cliff a global finincial disaster like never before. One that many countries will not recover from. Some say it started around the First World War when a group of private bankers decided to finance both sides of the war. Whilst countries on the winning side were able to seek new loans and recover, the losers faced financial ruin and high interest rates. And so it continued throughout the years that countries would borrow more and more sums of money and national debts grew larger and larger. And as more and more of a country’s revenue had to be diverted to servicing debt, less and less was left available to supply the goods and services the government’s of the countries need to supply. Taxes were increased along with the cost of living. And that is while the standard of living decreased. Now fast forward to the present. Basic the entire world economy is still sitting under a global pandemic . Many businesses and government services are not functioning or partially functioning , and debts for countries, businesses and citizens are ballooning. Debts none planned for. Non they wanted and debts many cannot service . Who owns this debt? What happens when countries cannot pay and governments can no longer provide basic and essential services? Welcome!
Let me tell you a little secret. And before I do remember I am known for conspiracy theories. But don’t you think it strange the numbers of countries calling early elections? Who is duping government to uproot themselves and call early elections? Some say lenders are refusing to make additional loans to governments that have only a short time left in office. Why is this? Well they want the people that borrow the money to be around when the sh!t hits the fan. Minnis got out with his shirt and socks. Brave Davis and many nee governments around the world is hopefully ready for shock and awe. Ine as the Minnis government leaves office and a new government is set up, the country will be another couple billion in debt. And if at junk status now imagine when the government reaches crisis borrowing or borrowing just to pay salaries and stuff. The good thing is The Bahamas will not be alone. Many countries, big and small will fall over this financial cliff. Some say having to trade power and national assets for food and medicine.
Obviously the person who wrote the piece about Minnis having to go is very shallow and/or seriously lacks analytical skills or a n honest pen. There were many things about the election past that were not normal and hence begs a closer look. Firstly, why did Minnis find the need to call an early election and why so early in his term? And why did he hesitate for so long? Some say Minnis was following the advice of his Non-native advisers who suggested he call elections while he was still popular rather than wait until he was backed into a corner snd have to fight a tough battle. But unfortunately, as word and speculation of an early election got around, it was not popular with the majority of the electorate and Minnis tried to do a double clutch and pull back. But by this time Election fever was in the air and the opposition cried ‘bring it on dude’. By this time the Covid pandemic was raging and Minnis’ decision to call the Election was looked at as careless, reckless, endangering lives and a clear effort to deceive and confuse the voters.and disenfranchise many. Some saw it as an attempt to steal the Election. Minnis was no longer trusted by people he had forced into lockdowns and curfews under the guise of saving lives, Minnis was now pushing vaccines is patients popped the windows, doors and hallways of mall medical facilities. Tents were set up and they too became overcrowded. Minnis appeared a weak and failing PM who had lost control and was failing in one of the most critical and deadly medical crisis in the country. And he was a medically trained doctor . And his sidekick, Dr Duane Ssnds appearing to sing for his supper from a muffled snd restrained voice put even more hypocrisy in the mix. Get in the hospital and save lives, dude. And stop campaigning to save your butt. Then as all the soldiers were not already marching backwards, Minnis decided to go on a campaign and attack Brave Davis. The FNMs were home or mostly somewhere other than in the political arena and Minnis decided ( obviously after being ‘advised’ to attack the leader of the greatest number of political active people at the time, grossly offending them and basically telling them to keep their votes. And the fact that mostly it was PLPS who voted Minnis out-of/office and FNMs chose to be more kinder to him is clear language that they didn’t really want Minnis gone. And those who sat and watched all these missteps in the FNM camp and did not take action are just as bad.
What Bahamian parents was famous fir telling their children when they were rude: ‘ I bring you in to this world, and I surely can take you out.’ And that’s what the people did to rudely arrogant Minnis.’
And Minnis and his Foreign experts should also note basically every radio station, tv station and media house in the country campaign for the PLP or did not support the FNM outrightly so. That was a lot of free media and publicity going to the PLP. That was powerful. And they say it was partly because of the way Minnis and he Ministers dem treated the press. Press on den!
