Everyone knows foreign campaign strategist failed Minnis. Their strategy of attacking Brave didn’t sit well with Bahamians, especially the swing voter that is need to win elections. Not necessarily in this case because mostly PLP s voted . FNMs stood down . Minnis brought direction and stability to the government. (At least until the vaccines arrived) so he had a strong platform to run on. Was the airport in Rum Cay that big of an issue when only 20 people use it in a week? Up until May of this year, you couldn’t hardly talk to a PLP about bringing the PLP back to govern. You would hear things like ‘y’all think Bahamian people stupid ay? Y’all think we forget ay? No never the PLP. Let them stay right where they is.’ Then Brave brought out the shiny, bright gold shirts, then the caps and the lawn posters and signs. He beat Minnis at his plan to ‘paint the town red.’ Brave covered the entire country with golden sunshine, even though there was plenty rain for crabs to crawl. Then the blue shirts came out, and the big trucks and the shopping bags. And the shopping bags took the country into a new day. At least it brighter than the world moping Minnis was left Behind in. Hopefully it is better. And Minnis and his team still don’t know what hit them . Write this down Minnis; Bahamians don’t like you to play with they heads. Don’t ever call an election in a pandemic. They don’t like uncertainty. Either call the election or leave it alone. Don’t dangle no carrots. Marlins maybe but no carrots. Bahamians like nee and they love excitement. After being locked down for do many months. Davis came along and dressed your bride in blue and gold, brought the voters to twin and straight bro the ballot boxes. The PLP and Brave Davis danced on Minnis and the few PLPS who came out to show support.

Don’t worry this ole battle axe will soon be about her usual business. Haven’t gotten along with a single Education minister in her total, entire career.

They are saying that 99% ( the US has now adjusted its figure to 80%) of persons dying from Covid in the country are uncertain. Yet there has been a significant increase in deaths in the country, especially since August and especially at medical facilities. Yet if one were to deduct the Covid deaths from total deaths, there would still be a net increase in weekly deaths since August. Murders and accidental deaths for the ge same period are fairly constant. So can the experts, if not , they he authorities explain what is causing this net inc in deaths over the past six weeks. One may argue that deaths increased since the pandemic began in March of 2020, but the numbers have definitely been more pronounced over the last six- seven weeks.

Up until the early part of this year, Minnis had sufficient support to, at least get re-elected but with fewer seats. Then he started his game of musical chairs as to when the elections will called. He should have went on a campaign to get more young people registered instead. People started to grow wary of when the elections wou be called. Some tried to do a balancing act to ensure they would be here (Bahamas) and available to vote if the elections were called. In the main time the Covid pandemic raged. There were unprecedented numbers of cases and deaths. People were being urged to get vaccinated and to stay home as much as possible. And then Minnis called the Election. Some people had already decided they were not going to take the risk to go vote. Then the early voting came up and was described as mad chaos. No social distancing, long lines, and little in terms of safety measures to protect voters. Then the debate came up about persons in quarantine. The Meltdown Minister said the police would be patrolling the polls and will arrest anyone that is supposed to be in quarantine. And the narrative then changed as to whether these people were being disenfranchised and should be allowed to vote. Then at the ninth hour it was announced that these quarantine persons will be allowed to vote and would attend the polls as part of the general population. This alone caused many people not to show up. And that is why New Providence and Grand Bahama are tge most affected by tge low voter turnout

On Election turnout was historic low

In case you are not following the latest on vaccines. The Pfizer company acknowledged that yes, the vaccines wear off after 6-8 months leaving you with a compromised immune system. But they don’t recommend giving a third booster sho except only to at risk po. Meaning millions will be left with compromise immune suspicion. Now states like Florida says it will restrict third vaccines and decide who gets them. Meaning they will decide who lives or dies

These are some cold hearted , totally careless and unsympathetic people who would put out fake or false information about a person’s life or death . Of course they know the effects their pathetic rumors or fake information causes. To friends and family , loved ones and to the general public at large. May they pay the price of their sins.

That is what happens when you rely or foreign advisers to give crucial advice. You cannot quantify the culture and emotions of Bahamian people, neither can you discount the value it has in decision making. Minnis had November, First part of December, January February aMarch and several months to call ‘early’ or snap elections. But he chose to play a mind game. He bet wrong and called the election in the height of the pandemic when Bahamians were seeing friends, family and loved ones die like never before. Minnis can justify keeping churches and beaches closed, limiting or having funerals and weddings and other social events . But dragging Grammy or papa out in their wheelchair or with their canes to vote and standing in long lines. Minnis hosted the most and largest super spreader events in the country, including the early polls and the general elections. He spent his entire campaign attacking Brave Davis but not giving Bahamians answers then wanted or needed. And the Bahamian people wasn’t playing that game . So Minnis suffered probably the greatest defeat in the history of Bahamian politics. And Bahamians still don’t know why he called an early election.
