The most false post of the pandemic!

It’s been a long time coming and Abaconians most likely deeply appreciate all efforts to bring life back to normal and BPL’ s efforts to restore power is a major turnkey for other things to happen

But they didn’t cancel or suspend door to door campaigning. Just limited the number of campaigners to five and AlL must be vaccinated. And it’s not like Minnis’ back is against the wall to call an early election. Or is it?

So where is that arrogant restaurant owner who was forcing his workers to get vaccinated or face termination. Quite a few of his staff left, only for the restaurant owner to discover indoor dining is not only not recommended by CDC, but is not presently allowed in this country, except in hotels, with the presumption that diners at the same table are sharing the same hotel room.

Here’s the hypocrisy: vaccinations ( supposedly) prevent the vaccinated from developing serious symptoms if they catch the disease. So being vaccinated or unvaccinated does nothing for the patients. In fact, since an unvaccinated nurse is more likely to show symptoms of the virus and not show up as opposed to a vaccinated nurse that may have the virus with no symptoms and continue to be a super spreader.. and which one do you prefer again. Also remember those persons that are exposed to Covid[19 over a period of time develop a type of immunity that is even more reliable than what they get from vaccines.

Whilst the greatest amount of new cases are among the unvaccinated,Increases in Corona cases are occurring in countries that have the highest levels of vaccinations. These include the US, France UK, Israeli. Increases in cases are also in countries, like tThe Bahamas, that have wide open borders and in the case of 5The Bahamas , have large numbers of people moving in and out. Countries like India Nd Brazil are seeing rapidly declining numbers of new cases and deaths as is the rest of the Caribbean and most African countries. So overall the numbers of new cases and Corona deaths are declining globally. The UK is reporting that 44% of its new cases is up there 44% and it is now 20% in the US. Only recently Dr Anthony Fauci said 99.9 percent of people getting the virus was unvaccinated and those who die from it can only blame themselves. He had to back off those statements as the numbers of breakthrough cases is increasing daily and the number of children who are now contracting the disease and dying from it is also increasing. The vaccines may be playing a part in the fight against Corona but it is not the cure-all. At least not yet.

No one has to recant, adjust and/or alter his public statements more than Dr Anthony Fauci, especially now the science is definitely not supporting his latest advice that the decision for fully vaccinated people to or not to wear masks is strictly up to them. Remember bloggers are not news reporters and while they should attempt to be honest and truthful in what they post, it should be regarded than just their opinion. Is blocking them a viable solution. And , furthermore, if you know of someone or anyone posting false information, you as a blogger have the right to challenge them and call them out. Sometimes, by engaging in dialogue, you may find not only is their post not only factual, but you are the one misinformed or being misled. The facts and information about Covid-19, the infection rates , the vaccines etc change everyday. Last time this year, many believed that the virus was caused by 5 G cell towers. And last year most of the world was led to believe that the virus was caused by Chinese eating infected bats. The talks about the virus being created in a lab and escaping intentionally or otherwise was highest on the conspiracy list. But just a few days ago Dr Anthony Fauci made comments to the effect that ‘the Wuhan lab was not the only lab involved with ‘gain-of-function’ research with Corona viruses. So if the Covid-19 virus was created in a lab and escaped, who is to say it came from the Wuhan lab?’ This is, of course, after the Chinese military made several sweeps of that lab to ensure that everything was neat and tidy.’ Or as Trump would say ‘ very neat and wonderful’

Dr Fauci is one of the least credible and greatest flip-flopper involved with the us Corona saga. His ‘on again’ off again recommendations continue as his latest advice is that unvaccinated must continue to wear masks (correct) but vaccinated persons can choose whether or not they want to wear masks, depending on ‘how safe’ they feel. This is in light of the fact that breakthrough cases continue to increase and now make up 20% of cases in some parts of the US and 40% in the UK. And despite the concerns about the Delta virus and ( according to Fauci dem) increases in new cases and medical facilities being overwhelmed), a huge concert happens in Florida with thousands attending. And Bahamians don’t miss out on anything that happens in Florida so expect dozens of new cases to be imported into The Bahamas, beginning as early as tomorrow. And the talks about a booster shot grow stronger. But whilst it may booster protection against corona, what other medical conditions will it create for persons who take this third jab( second for the Johnson and Johnson)?

Ok peep this: call it conspiracy theory if you want to. But went to check the corona dashboard several times today. And guess what? They have removed both the graphs for the new number of daily cases and new number of deaths. Why? Well simply because despite ALL the hype about the Delta virus and medical facilities worldwide being overwhelmed with patients, both the number of new Corona cases and deaths are sharply declining. And this doesn’t fit into the push agenda to get more people vaccinated and sell more vaccines. Serious thing.

Everyone, even with a little sprinkling of sense, can see the mad push over the past several months was to get people vaccinated and the focus was not on controlling the spread of the virus and keeping people safe and healthy. But there has been some back fire as the numbers of breakthrough cases ( vaccinated persons getting ill, some seriously, and this has caused more pushback for the vaccines. but the mystery now is what will happen after the Delta variant makes its trek across the globe and eventually dies off. There has not yet been any new talk of another new strain that follows the Delta strain except a few weeks ago there were talks of a stronger variant of the Delta virus to be known as the Delta plus. So does this mean that after the Delta has made its tour of torment across the globe, Corona will disappear? Covid-19 will finally ‘wave’ goodbye?
