Is the police force merely muscle men and gun toting officers who can go on the streets and bully the public and shoot and even kill when they see it necessary but otherwise the police force has no brains? No intellectual capacity? Face it: the security of one of the supposedly ‘most secure ‘ properties in The Bahamas was breeches, a senior marine killed and nobody, nobody knows behind did it? A line gunman was able to bypass armed guards and successfully eliminate his apparent, intended target? What if it was the Governor General who was being targeted ? In the case of The mid day massacre, no suspects have been named or charged. Houston we have a problem.

Government must not allow these vendors to be displaced by greedy hotel and property owners. They come here and rake in Billions and don't even want Bahamians to get crumbs of the table. Follow the laws of the country (all beaches are public) or pack up your hotels and go find another Bahamas. And as more family islands are developing, government must now put a task force in place to ensure that there is always free and unrestricted access to all beaches in The Bahamas. In fact ensure that there is public parking and other amenities for all beach users on popular beaches. The formers of the constitution had the vision and foresight to make all beaches public.
