PS it is said that fish is ‘brain food.’ And children use to be told to eat fish when they have an exam. And they will perform better. Also lab tests show that sugar is more addictive than some hard drugs. And it is not only the taste of sugar that is addictive but the sugars that may be hidden in foods you don’t expect, like ham or soups or spaghetti

What effect does junk food, fast food and unbalanced meals have on human behavior. Research has shown that not only are fast foods loaded with salt, sugar and bad fats, but most of the important nutrients have been removed. Not only does salt and sugar and bad fats alter an individual’s behavior, like causing them to become easily agitated, having less will power to work if complete regular tasks, but junk food and imbalance diets impair the learning ability in children and young adults. Is that the reason fir the national D average and the aggressive behavior, especially road rage on the streets? Do students who live on the Family Islands and eat more healthy food and balanced diets outperform students on New Providence and Grand Bahama?

The question is: Will the legalization/decrimilizing of marijuana lead to an increase or decrease in usage. Studies show that a number of youth, young men especially, start smoking marijuana at 13, 14 and 25 years old. These are crucial years when the brain is still developing. And there is a marked change in the individuals’s behavior. They change friends, they lose interest in recreational and social activities and their school work suffers. So any form of legalization must exclude this group.
2 what impact will legalization of marijuana have on gang and turf wars? Will the friction between these groups intensify or demolish if marijuana becomes available through more organized distribution?
3 And the quality of the products. There is no quality control at the present time and because of how its sold, persons can get anything when they make a purchase. In places where marijuana is legalized persons have better control of what they get.

With almost half the work force still unemployed or not fully employed then one can expect that robberies would increase. And the jitney drivers who are just now trying to rebound seem to be a major target for robberies. And also the mom and pop and neighborhood stores. Some make barely $100 a day and now have to live in fear of robberies. Not so much as what will be taken but their own safety. Robberies can easily turn deadly. But this vexing problem of drugs and turfs wars. For over a decade now it has claimed the lives of hundreds of young people, males especially. And whilst the ACP has acknowledged that many of these murders are solved, this alone does not seem to be a deterrent for murder. Should the government, then consider bringing back capital punishment, if only on a temporary basis to bring these murders under control? One time ago they use to say’ let them (criminals) kill out one another. But seems like innocent people are getting caught up in the cross fire. Then there are talks of vilagante justice?

The damage has already been done to the integrity of the bank. The shareholders suffered just when BOB was making strides at recovering.
