With The British now seeking to establish a warmer relationship with this country after its exit from the European Union, hopefully they will attempt to temper the negative and undue influence some of the US agencies have over this country’s armed forces. Some that clearly leads to violations of civil rights and death without accountability in some cases. The ambassador already says she was not in favor of the many black and grey listings launched against this country in the financial sector and ventured that Britain will, most likely, not be following suit with such listings in the future.

The minister of tourism seems to be totally lost about the effects and potency of the vaccines. While urging Bahamians to take the vaccine, he gave the scenario of a tourist having taken the vaccine, then coming to The Bahamas and ‘giving the nasty virus to a Bahamian who has not taken the vaccine.’ So is he saying persons who get the vaccine can still transmit the disease? I know it was said that persons who get the vaccine can still develop the symptoms, but they would be more mild.

The body cams are supposed to be activated when an officer leaves the station or reports for duty and continue to record for the duration of his shift. The officer cannot access or delete any footage on his camera. In fact some police cameras are set up where a third party stores the recordings and access is restricted.

Is Paul Rolle sincere in his actions or is he trying to save face in light of irrefutable evidence against the police officers? Then the question is begged, ‘Who made the recording?’ Police obviously need more training and accountability. Slapping suspects around and bragging about is so 1980’s-1990’s. Do some real policing. What is criminal justice?

They will do whatever to discourage Minnis from decrimilizing small amounts of marijuana, simply because they wants to see ‘niggas in jail’, unemployable, unable to travel, on the front page of The Tribune or other news media, being slaughtered in the streets under so called, ‘drug wars’ when it’s actually agents doing most of the murders. Answer this: If America was serious about its so called ‘War on drugs,’. Then how come is has spent less than 1/16, yes less than that, fighting opioids, that kill thousands more Americans in a single year, than marijuana has killed around the world in it’s entirety? Add as Lynden Pindling told the NBC news reporter many years ago ‘you ain’t serious’. Or Answer this, ‘who is the US tri to protect from marijuana in The Bahamas, when more than half the states in the US have marijuana legalized in some form, shape or size. Again when they attempted to brand The Bahamas a drug nation, Pindling said, ‘y’all ain’t serious.’ Learn ya history people. The beast is roaring.

Did you attend any of the VAT seminars or training sessions? Any ? Did you hear the address from Customs Officer Scriven, orfrom John Rolle who is now Controller of the Central Bank? Yet you come here in total ignorance, pretending to be the authority. A wolf in sheep’s clothes. The facts are easily verifiable dude.

Are you denying that, despite the circumstances, much progress has been made under the current administration, but unfortunately, murder in this country, Nee Providence especially is one of their biggest failures. And fingers point to the minister of national security, who is compromised in his post and should not be re-elected? Ever, ever? His loyalty was never to the Bahamian people. Ask him.

The high rate of aggressive driving and road rage that has surfaced since lockdowns have been lifted and curfews relaxed is unbelievable. Persons are reporting of being cut off, about drivers muscling their way in front of them, others coming out of corners in front of approaching vehicles, but the scariest experience is drivers following them, especially at night and being right up on their rear bumper. And the incidence of four females being shot in the Grove recently is evidence that this is not just reckless driving but full blown road rage. These people are angry and will do harm. The police have their hands full as the country records another murder. RIP.

Advocates of tax cuts argue that reducing taxes improves the economy by boosting spending. Those who oppose them say that tax cuts only help the rich because it can lead to a reduction in government services upon which lower-earning individuals rely. In other words, there are two distinct sides to this economic balancing scale.

When you compare the craftsmanship at Atlantis to Bah Mar and to The Pointe and even compare the work at Albany, Bahamians have skill and craftsmanship. It is only those foreigners who come here and try to undersell Bahamians. Even the tourist products in this country are underpriced. And it is all based on racism. The US State Department probably issues more travel advisories against The Bahamas than it does against any other country that has a ‘friendly nation’ status. Even most Americans visiting this country cannot understand why. We say we can’t survive without the US, But Florida merchants say they have never had it worse, ‘since the Bahamians stop coming.’
